Did ANet Actually Listen to the Forums?

Yes they did, at least if the patchnotes are true.
They even said on a prodcast that they take notes of suggestions made by players on forums and talk them over during their meetings.. : P
But i have mixed feelings about the changes, ill only know for sure once they are live and i get to test 0.o Im sad ill have to drop leg specialist though

Patch notes are obviously fake. I can’t think of any MMO that I’ve ever played that basically adjusted every single ability in the game in one patch.

You’re blowing how many changes that are on there out of proportion, considering most changes are things like aftercast and while they may have a big impact won’t totally change the game.

It doesn’t matter if they are miniscule irrelevant changes. There is still such a massive number that it’s almost a complete reworking of the entire game. In one, non-hyped patch. Yea right.
I believe the notes are real, but not every change listed will be implemented.
Maybe we should stop complaining untill the Actual notes are up and the patch goes live…
If the patch notes were “leaked” intentionally, then it is for the purpose of soliciting feedback before the patch goes live. So, “complaining” and “praising” are part of the feedback ArenaNet will need before these changes are implemented.
So “stopping complaining” is tantamount to not giving feedback (which would defeat the entire purpose of the “leak”). The Devs need to know what we think of the changes, good and bad, so this game can be the best that it can be.

I was initially skeptical about the authenticity of the notes, but the fact that it got the name of the new Torment condition correct that makes it seem pretty legit. So yes, the feedback is very important because if we give a ton of negative responses they have time to adjust. It also means that forum users can help change the game with ideas which is cool.

Giving feedback on Real patchnotes…not on patchnotes that could have been written by anyone..Hence wait for the Official patchnotes,so you can give Proper “Feedback”……

What else are we supposed to do before the patch…..?
