So, Recently while I was bored killing centaurs for Krytan Killer Daily and when you use Evade/Dodge key during Whirling Axe(Axe Offhand #5) channel, the endurance is used but WA animation is not cancelled, and you do indeed move in whatever direction you would dodge in so I’m wondering if this actually provides dodge frames or if maybe the WA animation should not continue but is bugged and isn’t doing damage or something. Or is this something that im just late to the party.

It does dodge attacks.

It’s why people mention Axe having free-movement over GS’s high mobility. Axe does its highest damage via auto-attack while GS needs 100 blades which roots. You can dodge during whirling axe while one of GS’s movement skills is a dodge and the other is heightened movement.

They both have their advantages although people are going to gravitate to one over the other a lot of the time.
