Q:
Dual Wielding
Game Designer
A:
Dual Wielding specifies “sword, axe or mace” so unfortunately it will not. That’s not to say it couldn’t change later though based on feedback from the next BWE.
Thanks! I’m personally really hoping y’all add torch to that trait, I think it’d be really fun. Keep up the good work!
Well let’s start the feedback now:
Please make offhand torch be included in the “Duel Wielding” trait.
Thanks!

Some feed-up-front then? :P

I don’t play warrior as my main; however, this is a trait I use pretty much all the time, and yes I would like to see the torch added to the list. Given the name of the trait, it logically makes sense to do so, since you are still “dual wielding.” It doesn’t really matter what you are holding in your off-hand.
Adding torch to that trait would annoy me if warhorn isn’t added as well.

Agreed. I don’t really feel there was ever any reasonable explanation for not adding warhorn to it, given that the same logic applies.
I guess the logic is that Warhorn, Shield and Torch are off-hand only weapons (not just for the Warrior but in the game in general). Furthermore, they aren’t really weapon-y.
Now, if an elite specialization were to add an off-hand dagger or off-hand pistol then I would fully expect the trait to apply to it.
