Eartshaker on hammer bug..
I posted this 2 months ago.Hardly any reaction and offc no dev able to acknowledge this bug while the bug is still present.
It is NOT lag related because simply,i do not lag and have no issues on any other skills im using.
Here’s my 2 month old thread collecting dust.

Figures… Guess it’ll end up being like the countless other bugs that will never get addressed
Anets priorities are update tooltips/Gem store etc. actually bugs are not high on the list.

Sad but true.
The problem you are experiencing is probably latency and too much spamming. I find that when I swap to any weapon and start spamming f1 I tend to just perform the burst forward, disregarding my target or the reticle. This happens for earthshaker and evis. Try it. Interrupt a skill on your offset with weapon swap, then start spamming f1. Sometimes you will miss your intended target.
Basha Blue – 80 Guard, Cat Harsis – 80 Ranger
And many more… on Crystal Desert Server (NA)
Terrain bug is still there. Anet only nerfs never fixes.
warrior and we’re the best class” Eugene
I also get where the ability icon triggers but nothing happens. I just keep running around and Earthshaker goes on cooldown.
Murdoc Jones – Brock Jones – Murdoch Jones – Jaedmara Jones
Warrior – Guardian – Ranger – Necro

Devs will glance over this and think meh,its just latency related let’s ignore them.

This isn’t even the terrain bug (which effects every leap, for every class…it is even worse for Ranger GS 3)
But yes, they seems to have a few problems acknowledging that this exists
And from what I can tell, it is only the Hammer F1 that causes the weird “teleport” animation
But they need to get a collective team together and fix the plethora of Z-Axis bugs as well
