Anyone else been taking damage while Endure Pain is active? Happen to me last night vs DH.

This has been a bug for at least a year now.

Lifesteal and conditions go through it, and people have reported a slight delay after activation where they’ve taken damage despite having the buff active.

It’s useless if it doesn’t work, and I still use it because I’d take it over the even MORE useless alternatives

I don’t main war so I was unaware this was a known thing. Thought I’d ask tho, cause there’s nothing like going 100-0 with endure pain popped.

I believe I have! And I’ve also had the Endure Pain-trait NOT proccing when off CD, (same has happened on engineer with elixire s trait)

But its so hard to test since it doesnt always happen

Unlike other traited invulns, endure pain will not stop ur health at 20%. If ur at 21% health and get spiked to 0 endure pain won’t do anything. To make matters worse it seams like it still triggers meaning it goes on cd

I didn’t mean the traited version, but the actual utility. I popped know DH had traps down, yet still melt. I had this problem again last night vs unload spam thief of all things.

It also happens on endure pain util,no matter if i pop it at 75% or 30%..It’s too random to get a hold on what’s causing it since it happens randomly vs various classes.I thought i had it figured out some months back that lifesteal was the cause of other damage going through aswell,but that doesn’t seem to be the cause since ive been having it vs a rev and vs guards and vs eles..and vs warrs,thieves..basically any class in these months it’s been happening.

I thought I saved screen shots of EP not functioning properly. But I cannot find them. I was attacked by a revenant and I have the EP proccing for 1 of 4 hits.
It was 0, 0, 0, damage, 0, damage, damage. Was very strange.

Dunno about that one,it seems you popped ep right at the time you got another hit.Ive seen a better vid from a warri getting hit with trueshot when ep was up,but cant seem to find it.

Vaans posted one where he killed a warrior then slowed down the video to show endure pain bug. This one was very clear and was nice because it was clear that vaans was not just whining about dying.

Warr vs warr,look at the target at 0:20 sec,slow the vid down to 0.25.

also,notice the date ? this has been going for atleast a half year now and we had no fix with multiple bug reports made..and now yet another.

ok guys I play a lot of warrior and zerg bust too. The recent balance patch has fixed this endure pain bug for me

but it only bugs out when i use the utility endure pain while @ or below 25% hp(when defy pain is not proc’d)

and getting hit by enemy procs the defy pain trait which then bugs out endure pain.

If you look carefully you can see i popped ep right as he went into stealth and just before he landed the backstab, it should have mitigated the damage. As for the passive ep, yes it bugs out as often as the utility in the same way i showed in the video, however people often say it bugs out because they didn’t get the pop at 25% but that has more to do with players having access to more spike damage post hot which can bypass the 25% requirement to get the proc.

I have some more clear recordings of skills landing through ep (both passive and utility) which i’ll post when i get home.
