Endure Pain and other skills.
My warrior is Tanky as all hell and block combined with endure pain gives me the ability to charge into a group of enemies and eat the initial barrage of skills/attacks with taking no damage.
Currently I build power/precision/toughness gear so I’m quite tanky in general, this combined with the blocks available and endure pain I can pretty much survive anything thrown at me.
Say for example there are a group of hammer mobs, who all seem to initiate by a charge and knockdown, I run in and eat the initial 3 charges with endure pain, break the knockdown and hit block. my 4 other group members now have around 5 or so seconds seconds to smash these guys while they are focused on me.
I think the problem is knowing when to pull back and regen, sure you have to do it a bit more if endure pain is on CD but its not hard to do.
As for the elites go yeah signet and banner are much better than Jug for all the reasons you mentioned, I predominately use banner since the aoe rally is great.
Yeah but your teams always kills the other mobs in 5 seconds? What happens if they’re alive after that 5 seconds? You have to sit there for up to 25 seconds (20 or so if you spec for it) taking damage, and throw in one mace block for good measure. I think that’s to long especially with the damage the dungeon mobs throw out.
But I suppose as long as you have a good team there’s no problem with anything.
I can stay in for around for more towards 10 seconds before its desperate that i need to get out, so after all my defensive stuff I start handing out stuns and disabling the enemy.
When I get too low I just dodge out and get behind my group to regen/heal and wait for cds, then charge straight back in and deal out some more stuns, if i have my rifle equipped i usually switch to that while regening so I’m not standing around doing nothing.
Jokes on you, the tooltip is wrong. It was nerfed awhile back and only lasts 3 seconds.
Well i concure with OP, the “dungeons” are just too strong for the abilities/cooldowns. Some like the challenge and i have no problem with it. Personally i cant cope with the no-trinity system well (yet) and i choose to skip this aspect of the game.

If you go deep into toughness you can get the auto activate endure pain which frees up a slot.
I run a pure tank/support build for dungeons, deep toughness and deep vit. I pick up the buffs to shout cd and shout healing so that i can spam AoE heals. This ups your team’s survival so much.
I gotta agree with the elites though. I typically bring 3 shouts (shake it off, for great justice, and on my mark) + war banner. Signet of rage is strictly better though but i feel less selfish if i take the elite banner. Rampage is pure trash skill. I wish they would add an elite shout skill so that i could go full angry bard-mode.
