Guild Wars 2

Hey fellow warriors I just got the Full exotic AC set of armor with all runes of the soldier (due to my tank build). But I cannot stand the way it looks! I see other 80 wars running around in epic looking armor that has glowing parts and flames and etc……What do I need to do for this? I know its silly but I am all about the cosmetic of my toon lol

You can transmute the appearances of level 80 gear with the blue transmutation stones. They can be found in the gem store (or as rare drops from some black lion chests).

Thanks alot and thanks for the link. I guess I gotta save gold to buy the armor that I wanna transmute if I dont like any of the dungeon sets? Also the Twilight Arbor Set isnt bad seeing as I am Sylvari!

You can go to the dungeon vendors in Lion’s Arch (the area right near the asura gates that lead to WvW and PvP). Once you have the shop menu open, you can right-click on items to preview them on your character before you decide if you want to buy it.

Feel free to mix and match from different sets until you get the look you like.

You can also go into the mists. there is a closet where every item currently in game is shown. Its a bit confusing because those items have a different PVP name than their PvE counterparts but they look the same. With the help of google and “Similar skin” sites you eventually can come up with the real name and the location where to get that piece. Thats what I did.

So if you got your weararmor and the armor which skin you want to use you need transmutationstones. Blue for endgame lvl 80 pieces or the yellow one for lower than 80 pieces.

When you click on them in the window you need to klick on the itemicon which look you want for that item, then you need to click the stats of the other weraarmor to select the stats. You max select the rune as well if the items have some.
