So I recently tried this build in ac and it seems to work quite well. I’m aiming at a hybrid of invinci/cc/tank/support with this build.

Any comments, thoughts? I run full knights with this – The only uncertainty to me thus far is how much healing power i would need for the healing shouts trait to be useful, or if it is useful at all. Right now, I’m just using pth (ascalonian weps) and healing power backbrace. Not sure if i need more healing power, if I have it right, or if i need less healing power. Also, if there are other runes that are better to use than runes of the soldier, which recently got fixed.

I’m a new 80 warrior and i’m all ears.

Says it’s a bad link. I run half Knights with half Zerkers and love it. I like the Knights for the toughness. I can switch to shield/ax if I have to and be a half decent tank even with Zerkers. Couldn’t see talents, but I’ll say I use healing shouts in dungeons, and despite no healing power it works pretty well.

The link is fine – idk what’s wrong with gw2 forums. Try copy pasting it.

I play also a tanky shout “soldier” warrior, but I go 10/0/30/30/0

because the +12% damage on full adrenaline is not something you can easily pass for any content, also can swap it for death from above when I find myself in WWW or doing jumpies.

IMHO if you go into discipline, you must go at least 15 for the fast swap, or these are wasted points.
if you like the hammer, even 10 points in arms will be better for a sure crit on stunned foe.

EDIT:
I started knight armor and cleric accessories,
but switched the accessories to berzerker/cavalier because shouts heal 1150 without any HP and adrenal health which is the MAIN reliable source of healing, (i don’t know if it is a bug but it still working on dwanya statue in ORR when it said healing is blocked…)
is not affected by it at all.

so more damage just worked better for me…

Full knights is wasted precision and not enough power IMO. Warriors have easy access to constant fury/banner of discipline/+x% crit chance depending adrenalin level from discipline tier 1 trait. Combine it with precision food/nourishment hell maybe even sigils/runes. Warrior isn’t big on the defensive skills so you’ve gotta make it up with stats. For example I have full PVT armour and zerker everything else, I critical on every hit with just above 50% crit damage, maintaining 25 stacks of might with the chunkiness and self healing to face roll all but the toughest of opponents.

The reason i do precision is so i can proc sigil of blood and other healy foods to keep myself alive. Not sure if it’s as good as i thought it would be but it’s something!

I like the idea of moving away from discipline for that stunned foe thing. Here’s an updated build!

Great comments keep em coming!

Note: replace mace with shield.

I use almost exactly the same build in sPvP, except I use Leg Specialist (I in Tactics) instead of Empowered (VI in Tactics). I also use the Cleric’s Amulet for high toughness and healing power. I use Sigils of Energy for the extra, and frequent dodge rolls on each weapon swap.
From my experience though, it’s a very good build that is incredibly fun to play! I give this build two thumbs up!

Warrior – Whrawl
Thief – Radderic
Mesmer – Smash Kablooey
