Guild Wars 2

So I’ve been thinking lately, if a Elementalist were to drop a Fiery Greatsword and a Warrior uses it and has traits focused on greatswords, would the traits be applied when using the Fiery Greatsword? Seems like it should work but I never got the chance to try it out. Any Ideas?

If I remember correctly FGS is treated as a bundle or kit so no weapon based traits should affect it.

I’d say test it for yourself in heart of the mist if you have a helpful ele-friend. I’ve never seen Forceful Greatsword trigger whilst using a FGS so I doubt any others will, but obviously didn’t record it, simply observed it.
