Q:
Frenzy 50%? Why???????
Quickness affects far more than just a warrior. And it actually makes people use their burst wisely and in a situation where you can land all the hits. I have no problem with this.

land all the hit with 50%+damage taken?….hehe…

Warrior is the class with the worst drawback when using quickness.
People ususaly use quickness to deal damage, stomp, ress. They dont use quickness to heal or to dodge. Warrior takes 50% more damage while in frenzy and dont forget that warrior ususaly is in the middle of fight so is afected by lots of damage. Ranger can´t heal while using quickness (they use quickness to deal damage, not to heal, same as us) and thief get their endurance drained and endurance regeneration halted (they have stealth to get away). So in my opinion the only profession that is truly hurt by the drawback of quikness is the warrior.
how about using stacks of quickness with a limit of 2, would add another mechanic to the game and change play style

play thief then come back to me with that line. You still get hit while invis and all dodges from weapon skills and utilities have their evade time halved. It is very detrimental.

Good thing warriors can teleport several times in a row and remain unseen for an extended amount of time…. OH WAIT WE CAN’T!
Yeah thieves can be hit while their invisible, but that’s why you don’t freakin stand in one spot while trying to avoid damage! Maybe use that spammable teleport most decent thieves have with their secondary shortbow, and if no shortbow carry their utility that let’s them teleport, any one of them.
Warriors have by far the worst drawbacks, arguing otherwise is pointless.

Endurance loss vs 50% damage.
Seriously? Theif has a better one than ANY of the other classes.

Hello, I see you’re new to Warriors.
Warriors have a number of skills that cause them to physically run at their target. When they have the Quickness buff, the animation is played twice as quick and the cast bar is half the time, as it should be.
Of course, what ANet forgot to do is actually double your movement speed, so the end result is that our class-defining movement abilities have their ranged halved when quickened. Our gap closers (and escape tools) get cut in half, all the while we’re taking 50% more damage from whatever we’re trying to home in on (or get away from).
Now off with you.

Actually I would prefer the Ranger version of quickness. As silentnight said, you don’t use it to heal. So pop it, dps, dodge away and heal / pop immunity. Since Quickness got nerfed by 50%, I don’t think the risk / reward is worth it any longer. So I removed it from my build. 5 seconds of +50% damage taken are too much in WvW (especially since EP only lasts 4 sec).
I didn’t feel quickness was OP on anything but TW, but hell, what do I know.
They changd it but didnt have the decency to reduce the 50% more dmg.
There’s another utility in the trash can…
I’m afraid I have to agree with the majority on this thread as well. I’ve been running GS/rifle build warrior since I hit 80 for WvW and this change seems like a step in the wrong direction. I really don’t have proof on if the distance abilities are cut in half while using frenzy but I admit it sure does feel that way. As for the 50% damage increase we take.. I’ll go as far to say its obviously the worst draw back compared to other versions. (hunter, thief) Considering most good players fighting against warriors can easily identify the buff/debuff of frenzy, it always felt to me like frenzy was more the flip of a coin rather then a guaranteed win. With this change can we even get an entire hundred blades off on a target now?

Easy answer…… unless your target is REALLY bad…….. no.

I feared as much. Considering you have to straight up BAIL on some fights because an enemy zerg shows up, I don’t see me ever changing to a non-greatsword build.(Mad dashing getaways a must imo)
How do we remedy this without re-rolling or switching to another build all together?

You can use bolas instead of frenzy, it cant glitch and miss if theyre bullsrushed on the ground right in front of you lol
The immobilize lasts long enough for a 100B and then some.
Sadly it’s just a condition though so it’s hard to hit eles and guards with, plus if another player shows up you cant just quickly finish them off.
So it’s not ideal but all we’ve got atm.
