Hey guys, I love to play Warrior but i don’t have HOT yet, and i would like to know if the full zerker gear and GS/Hammer build on warrior is any viable for pvp or WvW.

For zerging? Or roaming?

It’s not like how it used to be. You’ll find it harder to stun lock with all the evades, blocks, and stunbreakers out there, and you’ll be largely defenseless against the many ranged threats (condi, direct, stuns) flying around.

But give it a try and see if it still works for you. If not, consider running a GreatAxe build or a Sw+Sh/Gs. The shield is pretty clutch, imo.

I’m by no means an expert on warrior. Tbh I havent rly played it before. However, I duelled a warrior using hammer/GS the other week on my scrapper and it was rly hard to get a grip of the fight against him.
From a scrapper point of view it seems like a rly hard build to play against.

Either the Warrior was really really good or you just don’t play Scrapper that well, because no Scrapper build should have a problem vs Warrior in this current meta

I’m not a wonder at scrapper either so it’s prob a bit of both ;P This was in wvw so I’m not sure what gear the warrior used. But it looked fun!

Most likely full Berserker with Strength runes
Warrior for WvW raoming is on a point that is either you kill fast or die fast (no matter what) so ppl tend to run super squishy specs that do kitten loads of damage

Most scrapper builds don’t play to gs/h warriors either. Though, if you’re kiting, using your stealth and bulwark gyros, and then engaging when you’re ready, you should win. I’ve found moderate success against scrappers using rifle where I could maintain ranged pressure against kiting and through blocks.
