I’m currently working on wvw map completion and I’ve bumped into a few roamers recently and had some pretty funny scuffles.

While fighting a warrior I noticed he was breaking my immobilise and snare using his GS, I’m not so clever when it comes to pvp mechanics, however I after noticing this i moved closer to a cliff and laid on some cc. It was only a matter of time until he went spinning of the edge.

Also met a ranger that after downing me (had my map up at the start) let me rally for a 2nd bout which i returned the courtesy.

While farming a few skritt, my fps suddenly dropped, my skills began to lag out. as i turned the camera i started to take damage. 2 seconds later i was dead, steam rolled by the whole enemy zerg so it seemed.

I was soloing Svanir when another Warrior came and 100 blade-combo’d me (yes, this was before the Haste nerf). So yeah, with Svanir smashing my face and this other Warrior up my kitten I eventually downed. However, that Warrior never finished me off and started on Svanir in hopes to steal the kill.

I laid there patiently waiting…
…waiting…

When the moment was right, I knocked the warrior down with my hammer (downed #2) and threw a rock at Svanir (downed #1) and killed him. I literally laughed so much that I had to stop playing cause I was laughing too much.

The Warrior spat out profanities and carried on his merry way.

This was single-handedly the greatest PvP moment not just as a Warrior, but in my GW2 PvP career.

Funniest moments on my Warrior all happened in WvW, was when I’d do the jumping puzzle or was completing the maps.

First Moment I was fighting with some guy by the cliff where you jump down to enter the puzzle. After we fought for a bit I moved closer to the edge, made a quick manuever around him and used Fear Me!. He Walked right off the edge and died on some rocks.

Second Moment it was at the same cliff but there were like 5 people. I was set up as a Tank then and I kept running up the cliff and jumping down in the water kiting them for about 5 minutes then got bored and let them kill me.

Final moment wasn’t really funny, but cool. Was fighting a Guardian, he couldn’t hurt me but I was beating him and he withdrew to the 2 veteran guards, and bowed to me. I let him go on his merry way after bowing back. Was a respectful fight

While it’s not exactly Warrior specific, I did have a cracking moment in SPVP today as a Warrior when I was fighting a Mesmer on a capture point – he used his “LOL you die” button and turned me into a Moa. I thought I was done for…

I proceeded to down him while in Moa form and capture the point.

I laughed so hard my bowels nearly failed me.

Running around wvw I found a random ranger, we started a 1 on 1 fight until he was close to a cliff, so I charged on him with my #2 swords skill and used “Fear me!” As expected fear made him run to the edge and to his grave!

Rifle #5 to killshot for down. So satisfying.

I typically find it amusing how in small skirmishes people try to focus me down first, even when I’m in a party with a thief, ranger and/or guardian. I usually just sword leap / warhorn kite them around to spread out the attackers while my party just lays waste to stragglers trying to keep up with me or just not paying attention to them.

I 1v2’d 2 glass cannon thieves at the same time once using the offhand mace #5 knockdown followed by axe mainhand #1 and #2 skills (also have FGJ, OMM, and SoF up, so I had tons of might stacks / vulnerability up)

Other greatest moment as a warrior was I once hammer F1’d into a group of players that were holded up in a corner on top of Stonemist Castle and immediately stomped the area and sent them all flying off the edge to their horrible demise. To this day I haven’t had quite as satisfying an experience as that lol.

Haven’t tried hundred blades till I was level 80.

So I’m standing in Durios, a big zerg of 30-40 players outside beating on the door, trying to type that the place is toast to the rest of the map and not paying as much attention as I should be to the health of the door. We have like four or five guys on the wall, tops, so I know it’s a lost cause. Two seconds after starting my message, mid-sentence, the door explodes and I’m standing right in front of this massive group of people with maybe one other guy by me.

I go spinning for the door with Whirlwind and get knocked on my kitten by something – likely a guardian wall – and pop Endure Pain. Covered in conditions as I stand, I get briefly knocked back for another second while still invulnerable, giving me just enough time to pop Stamina before touching the portal and not melting from the billions of projectiles in my face.

Because of the sheer amount of people focusing me, I’ve got a couple of conditions left which barely take me below the 10% health point, triggering Vampirism’s mist form, giving me precious feet towards the bridge.

At this point at least ten of them have turned back hoping to finish me and I hit Rush, unfortunately crippled, and am halfway across the bridge. I roll once, dodging a couple of projectiles no doubt meant to pin me, swapping to warhorn mid way and cleanse what I had left/converting them to boons, rolling again for good measure.

Hammering the weapon swap, I manage to pull my greatsword out again and go into hyperspeed towards Stonemist, 25 stacks of precision still intact so that I can turn around to give a /wave to the handful of angry invaders who are staring at me from near the bridge.

HARD 2 CATCH

a massive number of enemies are attacking ogrewatch as me and my guild are defending, we manage to push them back into the ogre camp and they are setting up siege, but me and a small team of engineers and rangers sneak around to the side, and use our jump skills to hop over the ledge into the back of the ogre camp.

we called for help and the entire fight gets into a stalemate at the door with neither side able to cross. i sneak around to the top of the little cliff overlooking the door and spy a cluster of staff ele’s at low health backing off from the fight to heal up.

i had full adrenaline, was near glass cannon spec and was using a rifle. i take aim lining up my kill shot and instantly down three of them. the effect was immediate, their allies near them turn tail and run after seeing three guys go down at the same time, i jump down at the same time as our engineer run in with flame throwers blazing and the 4 of us break the deadlock, routing a zerg of about 40.

insta downing three guys at once with a well placed kill shot. priceless.

1. On Borderlands puzzle I’ve Stomped 4 players down the rocks. 2. Try this.You get near the edge of some cliff near enemy respawn base. You show yourself alone and couple people start chasing you. You run to the cliffs’ edge and your fellow friend necromancer uses his Reaper’s Mark right behind the group chasing you. They trigger it, they rush helplessly down the cliff feared. Never gets old

A glass canon riffle warrior popping all is ability on me and I used Shield Block to reflect enough damage that he went from 100% hp to 0…

He was a porcelain canon or something like this.

when a thief jumps on you with mug, heartseeker, C&D and then uses the axe they stole to do the spin to win move. only to hit your shield stance/endure pain

Pressing 2 with my sword right when someone punted the guy off the cliff. I did not make it.

Did you at least stab him?

Dual pistol Thief in WvW who popped out spamming unload while using haste… killed himself because of shield block’s reflect trait.
