GS / Axe+Mace Viable?
It could work but i dont think it will be viable. But… if it turns out to be viable, it will be nerfed…
For PvP, greatsword + Axe/Mace is a viable setup. The greatsword allows for excellent mobility, while the axe/mace is good for raw damage and a bit of control. That being said, how you have your traits setup puts your focus on damage with the greatsword, while axe damage will still be superior. Your skill and weapon setup doesn’t allow for hundred blades to hit reliably as the knockdown from tremor doesn’t last long enough. Your focus should be on the axe as your main source of damage, and the greatsword for its utility.
I suggest a traits more akin to this ( I have only adjusted traits, nothing else ):

With these changes the focus becomes the axe, which will provide you a greater amount of damage than the greatsword in PvP situations. The change to burst mastery from mobile strikes also permits you to have a a greater deal of condition removal than previously, despite the longer cooldown on signet of stamina
above build will make you incredibly squishy, btw. not only stat wise but you also don’t have a shield.
keep in mind that in tournaments raw damage warriors aren’t that popular

Tested, and approved! TYVM Sir, yet, i substitute the mace for sword, it worked even better ^^
Face it; anything that is good or viable gets nerfed = class even more broken down – but axe/mace is a good bit of DPS in it’s own right. It just doesn’t make sense to nerf a warriors power…. I mean it’s a warrior.
Now that I tried it, axe in spvp kinda sucks, IMHO. I feel it’s better to invest traits into GS and then grab another weapon (LongBro <3 ).
That’s because it’s very crit-dependant. And even 60% crit chance seems like it isn’t enough. And 100 blades does more damage, so I feel like it’s better to add a weapon that helps you land it more often.
because he doesn’t know it himself

I dunt like longbow so i picked rifle. Ppl dont rebember how to dodge killshot so i have nice laugh. Thats said, i also feel that axe lacking dps in spvp, i tried to transfer my axe/shield+lb build from wvw but the damage is about 60% lower making it a awful weapon, with weak 2 and 3.. But comparing axe aa to 100b, the difference is next to 1-2k while being mobile and without any root.
