First off, you might want to look at DnT Nike’s pve warrior guide on Youtube. That would help a lot.
But basically what you do is you start off by using the heal that gives you max adrenaline. Then use f1 on gs to proc berserker’s power which gives you 20% extra damage. Use gs 2 and 3 and switch to lb (if you want), drop f1 and 3, then switch back.
I’ve not done a lot of pve and Nike knows what he’s talking about, but the rotation you describe surprises me. I’d think (at close range), the following would be best:
The main thing that surprised me about the rotation you described was using your heal to max adrenaline to use Arcing Slice. It does the same damage regardless of how much adren you have, and opening with a max Combustive Shot instead will give you the advantage of a longer fire field and some might before you use Arcing Slice.
Warriors should use arcing slice (gs F1) at max adrenaline is to activate the berserkers power at max potential (+20 % damage) for 10 seconds.
Freely quoted from Nike (which i approve of) the general idea is to :
- garantee berseker’s strengh 100% uptime ; that is why you bring the healing shout and the precision signet, so that you fill it up before using the burst skill.
- never have your adrenaline full (stick’n move is +10% damage) ; you should double dodge when engaging combat then dodge in your rotation to get back to your target (gs 3 will most likely draw you away).
- roll your face on keyboard intelligently ; any skill has a higher dps than the auto, and if you are concerned about vulnerability not capping just mock the elem/engi. You should spamm skills on cooldown, but remember to aim gs 3 and dodges accordingly to stick to your target. IMO, it is a much better active play than leaving signet of fury & healing chillin (pre 23/06).
- make sure hundred blades has all those factors in mind, and tap that 50k damage !
Considering this rotation, there is no need for a second weapon set.
BUT.
I believe that in situations were you lack knowledge of the boss partern (such as lvl 50 fract archdiviner) one can substitute hundred blades by swaping to longbow for a significant dps loss but safer gameplay. The rotation would then follow the same logic :
1. dodge roll
2. F1
3. combustive shot
4. fire fan
5. auto
5. ( 4/5 depending on situation )
6. switch back to gs
A full combustive shot procs Berserkers Power as well as a full Arcing Slice. My point above was that a full CS (plus aoe might from blast) and partial Arcing Slice gives you more than vice versa.
If you’re planning on doing PvE, longbow is not the best idea.
Although it has some uses in niche situations, being the best ranged weapon a warrior has available, in normal combat its a DPS loss to swap away from GS to do a longbow rotation, and you also lose out on potential might generation for your party, since longbow doesn’t proc forceful greatsword.
^I forgot to mention that in Nike’s builds you either camp gs or use axe Mace and not lb. I was merely suggesting a rotation for lb if you really want to use it.

Arcing shot procs it though. 3 stacks for yourself, 6 for everyone else in the party, for a much longer duration than forceful greatsword.
Pure might stacking wise, it’s not a terrible idea, it definately maintains might better than any other weapon swap option.
