GS pvp build.
If you’re talking about the HB (instagib) build then it’s really just a matter of taking Frenzy and Bullsrush and then when the target is downed fire off hundred blades. If you have fast fingers you can Bullsrush first to avoid the inevitable attempted dodge as soon as they see the boon fly onto your interface but you have to be fast on Frenzy if you land it. Also this build requires you to be loaded up with a lot of crit and maybe some crit damage so that the target literally melts.
Other than this, using whirling blades as an escape/gap closer and bladetrail to cripple and cause long range immobilizes(traited) is pretty standard.
Use Bull’s Rush. This stuns the target. Then use Frenzy and then use Hundred Blades in the same moment.
Then watch as you die. Later you can read about how OP you are on the forums, despite the fact that the people complaining just broke stun and moved out of the way.
Ok! Are there certain traits that are must haves? or is it perty simple? Obviously the bladetrail trait, anything else?

This.
Usually 30 Strength, 30 Arms, Picking up all Greatsword bonuses and whatever else suits your playstyle. You don’t have to pick up the bladetrail bonus since that requires 10 points in tactics which is a very underused tree for the GS warrior. I myself run with the 10 points in Discipline and run faster with a melee weapon but honestly, I barely see this working as intended.
To recap, 30 Strength and 30 Arms is pretty much necessity, take all GS damage traits and possible crit traits.
The last 10 are for your own choice.
Why not try starting with what isn’t the cheesiest insta-win spec available?

20 strength, 30 arms, 20 discipline is better IMO. Don’t undervalue the crit dmg when you can spec to have 80-90% crit chance.
From strength you need Berskerker’s power and Slashing Power, past that the rest is meh. On the other hand from Discipline you want Heightened Focus and either Sweet Revenge or Mobile Strikes.
Sacaen -lvl 80 Warrior
He said he wanted to play the greatsword build.
We all know the greatsword is useless for anything other than mashing hundred blades repeatedly, there’s almost no damage on the auto attack, whirling blades and blade-trail are nice but are situational and can’t be relied on for heavy damage and the rush is so bugged it’s barely useable.
Without hundred blades he’ll lose….a lot.
you guys talk like our traits work or something, our essential traits don’t even work what so ever.
He’s right there DreadShinobi, I’ve never seen Sweet Revenge work, ever….It’s so broken.
