Guild Wars 2

So I just hit level 80, and I’m curious as to what gear I should be looking at, and/or buying?

I’m going to be doing things like WvW, and farming for gold, with the occasional dungeons. I want to get geared first before doing any outrageous dungeons (I’ve heard some are hard). Is the priory set a good first choice? People have been telling me that draconic would be good, but I just can’t manage that with it going for around 3G a pop.

It really depends on what you want to be doing. Multiple ways to play each class. Work out which weapon you think you would like. For example if you wanted to use a Greatsword then you will be wanting Crit Dmg % and not Condition Damage, but if you were to duel wield Swords then you would want Condition Damage and not Crit Dmg %. After determining that you can work out what spec you want to go, and then find a nice balance between melee glass cannon and tank while including dps and survivability stats.
