Saw a PvP Level 69 warrior in hotjoin last night just owning everyone. Name was Gemma Dun.

Are you here Gemma? Anyone know this warrior and the build they are using?

I spectated a bit but didn’t have time to see much more that it was a rabid amulet and dual sword/longbow.

I am new to warrior. What’s the strat with that sort of condition build on a warrior?

It’s hotjoin, a decent warrior can use a variety of builds and accomplish quite a bit…its the decent part that comes the hardest for most people.

Conditions can destroy anyone who is simply not prepared for the re-applications (now with Torment, they could freak out and move alot, dealing more damage to themselves because they do not know WHICH conditions to cleanse, and how to deal with them.

CC can destroy alot of pugs in Hotjoin because many don’t bother bringing enough stability or stun breaks to deal with it…then there are the lololol ones that pop all their defensives and dodges on a single CC.

Displacement can task a newcomer’s perception when they get into combat, then are unable to really know where they are due to being moved around by other players skills.

Really, it depends on the players, not the build (usually anyways)

It doesn’t matter what build you use. You have to run with the zerg or join a fight midway.

Warriors fail at surviving, So you have to rely on not being noticed and change the tide by flanking them.

He’s in my guild (OP) he plays different builds, classes, etc all the time as you can imagine the grind to 70 is absolutely insane so he changes things up all the time to keep things interesting. He was using LB and Hammer last week but he probably changed again. He also plays engi, thief and sometimes Ele. I’ll try to see what he’s running with these days and post it.

He led with like 350 points most matches when I was there. He was always with a group, but was pretty much the spearhead, as I saw it.

I would enjoy hearing about the build. It seemed quite effective.

nothing new really 0-30-20-0-30, rabids, undead, s/s + LB and dual stances. He’s a very good player though was in top 50 of lb’s at one point so i think skill >> build imo and yeah..its hotjoins lol. I dont think he’ll stick with this very long though he changes builds like i change underwear..weekly

0-30-20-0-30 huh? No wonder this guy is destroying people, he unlocked the yet unseen 80 point build :P

On a serious note, this Gemma Dun is a warrior played by a prolific PvPer, I think his account name is Serasin or something like that. He plays really well, has solid builds and is very skilled. I love getting on teams with him, its an easy hot-join win

His warrior name is Genmu Dun. I had it wrong. But yes, a great player to have on your team.

S/S+LB condition builds feel pretty kitten strong right now after the OH sword change. Just for hotjoin stomping, don’t think I’d try to run it in tourny.

I remember when he wasn’t a level 69 rank xD… he was 50 levels lower when I first met him. Anyways I use to have that combo awhile back. The strat is pretty much a zerg destroyer when you have the right group. Otherwise you’ll be utterly destroyed when focused. Nevertheless he’s a great player and ally to have on board.
