Give us Three Weapon Slots! :D
Critical Impact [Crit]
Anet can’t balance a warrior with 2 weapon slots properly, how are they supposed to do that with 3 slots? oO
I can see the woe now if this ever happens. They already have trouble splinting up the “Action/Pick Up Item/Revive Ally” key…. Try to think about how switching through three weapons would work with the way Anet does the above.
We would be force to cycle through them in order and unable to go to the weapon we want/need when we want/need them. We would be stuck with Weapon 1→Weapon 2→Weapon 3→Weapon 1, which in my opinion would be horrible.
Just use another F key and swap alt weapons like eles swap attunements. I’ve considered this option myself in the past. It would be pretty sweet.
I’ve considered it too. It’s a shame warrior have some many weapons and can only use so few at a time. Pity it’d be a pain to balance.

It would be nice I agree. People have explained (and cried about) how to split the Action/Pick up/Revive key as well but Anet choose to keep it one key. I am not sure if they would be willing to split up switching weapons between two keys.
Well yeah, warriors are the masters of weapons after all. Getting three weapons would be nice. But I don’t think it would happen.
Can we please just remove the weapons lock in combat and allow macros so I can hotswap weapons based on my situation? They already maintain cooldowns for utilities when you hotswap them, just maintain that with weapons too.
Just add a 1-2 second global cooldown ontop of it for balance.

How’s about F2-F4 with a weapon skill of your choice (with an higher CD, maybe a factor of 1.5 on the initial CD. Skill#1 and bursts are exluded)?
So I’m playing Axe/Warhorn and can use Sword#2 on F2 (12sec CD), Greatsword#3 on F3 (15sec CD / 12sec traited) and Shield#5 on F4 (45sec CD / 36sec traited). Skills from equipped weapons will share CD (but the factor will only count on the hot-key).
You will loose one adrenaline level each time (and you need one at last).
Just add two weapon sets on Hero Panel, for a total of 4 weapons equipped.
F1 switch to first weapon set, F2 switches to second set.
Cooldown between set change will be 10 seconds fixed. Maybe reducible with a trait in last line, like the current “Fast Hands”.
But this means a rework of Hero Panel, traits and whole Warrior mechanic. Too drastic too see it soon.
/agreed, war lacks heavily in versatility….
It would be awesome, not having to open my hero panel to put on my warhorn while running the map just to have switch it back to my fighting set when I an enemy coming. Or get ambushed and not have the right set for my build cause swapped my mace for a warhorn while running and then find myself at a disadvantage.
“…let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die;.”
Even if they would give us three slots… then are people going to ask for four slots, and so on.

When they first made classes, weapon swapping was a warrior thing.
Somewhere along the line, it became something for all classes to use.
Now the warrior needs something else to make up for the fact that his unique capabilities were spread around throughout the game.
It’s okay, we have a STURDY BODY and 3% DAMAGE PER BOON.

And we’re talking like soda can quality, not that sweet aircraft stuff.
How about no?
You already dominate every other class in dps, you’re the most polished class in the game. You have nothing to complain about.

Good one. Have you played a warrior against other classes recently?

Well if you actually cared enough to pay attention then you’d know Anet’s stance on the warrior is that he’s pretty friggin worthless in PvP right now. When people stand still and shrug their shoulders like mobs, they get destroyed by warriors….but the problem comes in when they realize that the keys on the keyboard actually make their character do things…
