Guild Wars 2

I’ve been away from the game since just before HoT was released. Back then warriors were in a good place I felt. I read differently now.

I’m basically looking for a nice build just for PVE/story/open world carebear stuff. I have no inclination right now to bother with any PvP or WvW, raids, or fractals again.

I’d like a build that uses GS as I have Eternity, I also have the Legendary shield and a decent mace for when I used to do tanky type dungeon stuff. I preferred GS and Dps though, and usually have a bow equipped to range stuff. Also am using berserker line atm because it’s new, I’d like to carry on using it but doing so makes choosing other lines a little tricky.

I’ve honestly googled some builds but really can’t find much that’s up to date. I just to just zoom around smashing the crap out of everything in zerker gear but times change.
I also used to use a fairly decent shout/banner type spec.

Any suggestions? I actually have 4 80 warriors on my account as I always enjoyed it most doing world 100% etc for legendary grinding.

I could spend a while really trying all sorts but I’m feeling lazy and just want to carry on with all the new things.
Runes/sigils/armour types it’s all fine if i don’t have it I can buy or craft it.

If it were me, I’d use something like this, since open world is pretty cake and all you need is DPS and mobility. If you wanted even more mobility, drop the shield for WH, but I included it because it helps with Unsuspecting Foe and you have The Flameseeker Prophecies.

Here a Open World Build that rely on frequent bursts to gain endurance, with 2 stunbreak, soft and full condi clear, ok mobility and good self might generation.

Pick the sigils you like the most!

Thanks for the replies so far, I have parts of both builds really so am in the right direction.

I would suggest GS-Sw/Wh for mobility…

But with Mounts in the new expansion, Mobility issue is resolved, i would pick less mobile weapons and higher damage maybe GS- Axe/Mace

I was thinking of asking this anyway, but reading some patch notes and reactions today it’s made me ask now.

I’m thinking of just going back to core warrior, if anyone has a nice build in line with my OP but without zerker it would be welcome too!

Edit, Went back to core Warrior. mostly signets plus banner of disc. Liking it so far.

I have no idea what food and utility is good anymore, especially since the changes today. Any suggestions?
