Grandmaster trait
Not every trait is fantastic for everyone. Some players will use the time given by endure pain to prevent their doom, even if you can’t. The master traits are good enough to compensate even if you don’t like the grandmasters.
Hey its endure pain! its not like it would be mist form where it can interrupt your healing skill or current outgoing action and leaves you with no skill to use during that time… and you have less than 25% at the end of the skill…
I’m sorry but this trait clearly lets warriors tail it out of there whenever things are going badly in WvW. This trait is certainly not underpowered :/
I generally run Merciless Hammer over Defy Pain on my Hambow. However, that’s because Cleansing Ire and Merciless Hammer are so strong, not because Defy Pain is weak. My suggestion would be to swap Cleansing Ire to Grandmaster and Defy Pain to Master, but that’s just me.
Competitive Warrior, Ele, Mesmer, Ranger, Engineer, Thief
a free endure pain every 60 seconds? do you realize just how much of a “get out of jail for free” card that is? that trait combined with war dingage skills allows you to play SO carelessly it’s funny, you can be a leeroy and nearly always come out unpunished.
on my shout bunker it is always Spiked Armour,
such amazing uptime on retal really helps.
i don’t think defy pain is aweful, its just that there are better things to pop in the slot, even green traits like cleansing ire/merciless hammer

This is a good post. You can also apply Defiance Stance when it ends to heal up or just use Endure Pain after Defy Pain for laughs.
