I think “Rush” needs a follow-up sequence attack to cancel the rushing animation whenever we want, it’ll still trigger Charging strike at full distance. Rush>Charging Strike? I kind of hate using my weapon swap just to cancel out rush and wasting my sigil swap like “Sigil of Energy.”

Stowing the weapon doesn’t work for rush for some reason.

Nothing cancels Rush outside of swapping weapons or getting hit with CC.

No, Rush just needs to change period. They’ve proven that over an entire year they still cannot make that skill land properly on anything but a like-sized, motionless, NPC target.

I agree. I’d prefer if Rush can run at the enemy and when you get a certain distance to the enemy you can jump at him and stun or immo him for 0.5 seconds. Atleast Guardian’s Greatsword Leaping ability blinds the target and there 5 ability pulls multiple enemys towards them while knocking them down. What do we get? Other than 100B which is useless in pvp and whirlwind which is like the only real helpful ability the GS gets.

They can also simply speed up “Rush”. Make the speed of you to your enemy occur as fast as a guardians leap ability. At least that would get rid of any down time from rush.
The most hated thing that happens is getting crippled or chilled just as I press Rush. It’s like you totally screw yourself by doing this. You now are stuck running mad slow barely going anywhere, and unable to do anything until the rush ability ends. It’s like your character moves in slow motion while everyone around you moves at normal speed blowing you up.

It would be nice, however most of the time you can rush to the enemy, swap to shield (hydromancy sigil) and shield bash. That works really well most of the time.

Bladetrail – 90% of time its obstructed by terrain, also a slow projectile. < i suggest to make it a block skill like on ranger gs

Rush – nuff said. Change that to leap of faith animation and set it cd on 15sec. Its a nerf to mobility outside combat but buff to incombat. Move to 3

Whirl – make it applyng cripple, move to 2

Hb – probably goes to stay this way, cut animation to 2sec, remove final strike and increase it damage to make up for that, also lets us move at slower speed while casting. Move to f1

Arcing slide – move it to 5 on 25cd, give 2sec kd and increase dmg by 20%

Chain – i dont think that vul fits it, its actually should be a mace thing, its also probably one of the lower dps chains from warrior weapons.

I find that Rush is best used to disengage from fights due to the shortcomings of using it as an attack.

Instead of reworking the gs, the best way to fix this is making rush animation the same like ele’s 4th fiery gs skill.
