I wanted to get some opinions from other players on the matter of Greatsword sigils. I run a DPS build with berserker gear and I am currently using the Sigil of Fire. Prior to that i was running with Sigil of Strength to try and keep might at 25 stacks. Does anyone have an opinion or anything they can share with regards to the choices you made and why?

Has anyone done the math on sigil dps comparison or can point me in the right direction to a website or article? I have been unable to locate any comparison articles in these forums or google.

Sigil of air if your crit is > 40% passive.

Why Sigil of Air over Fire? Fire is AOE based and Air is single target?

About 30% more dmg than fire. And if ur gs your focusing on one person so your gosl is highest spike on that individual

Thank you for the response. I am sorry but I should have clarified that I mainly PvE which is why I chose the AOE of Fire over single target Air.

False, the greatsword is an AoE weapon, it’s abilities are all AoE except rush and the Gs deals more damage based on how many foes you face due to Forceful Greatsword’s stacking might based on hits.

Two-handed weapons generally are more AoE focused while one-handed ones have higher single-target power.

Every warrior weapon except shield.

Even one handers have a 180 degree aoe.

Why did you switch to GS? I noticed in your last few recordings you were already using the GS.

Current Paid tPvP meta is either Bunker or Burst. Need to fill that role on a team otherwise you won’t move very far.

Once things shift to more balanced builds then I’ll be moving back to my baby (hammer).

I don’t like it, but I want to stay competitive.

Thanks! tried it last night, it has a strong burst with scholar.

@Defektive: quite sure Intelligence on axe and Battle on shield won’t stack (9 seconds cooldown on same effect family, on-swap in this case) and you’ll get only one of them. Are you sure you’ll get the might AND next attack will crit?

Yeah you know what? Don’t get Sigil of Rage on GS. The latency is hella buggy.

I’m pretty sure I get both. I believe you can’t have the same item stacked twice. But I wasn’t aware that it’s tied to sigil ‘families’.

I like to use Sigil of Earth on my Greatsword for PvE because it allows me to continue dealing damage while I dodge and greatly compliments my rifle.

However, I also use a condition-heavy build, so Sigil of Fire may be better for you if you’re using a power-spec.
