Hi, I am kinda new to this game (I’m also not a native english speaker, I hope you will understand what botters me :P) and i found some problems with GS in pvp. All other weapons work fine for me with the exception of the best looking one, which I can’t controll as i want too.
I mean how do you hit a moving player in pvp with skill number 3 (Whirlwind Attack)? It’s so hard to put/rotate a cursor in the right direction, without loosing too much time, while your opponent jumps around you …. I ‘ve been missing a lot. I also have hard times hitting with skill number 2 (Hundred blades). It’s so easily avoidable, dodged and I can’t move while “channeling” it.
So how do you guys manage these 2 skills? Any tips or do you recomend me to choose another type of weapon for pvp?
For #2 u need cc to land it in current state.. Mace f1 with sigil of para will help a lot/or at least sword f1
As for #3 – fast-cast ground targeting in options
hundred blades is a powerful skill with many drawbacks. you seem to know what they are.
Keeping your opponent in one place is the key to doing damage with a greatsword. accomplish this by stuns or immobilize. Longbow 5 and the utility skill throw bolas works great for this purpose because they are ranged and most opponents expect a melee stun.

If you struggle using gs#3 offensively, then use it defensively. It gives an evade and with mobile strike it will propel you. That way you will live longer.
