And i guess they would be Gladiator or something like this.

No land spears in HoT.

More likely, you will get pistol, shortbow, or torch.

Staff will be the rangers new weapon. I bet 1 silver on pistol

Dagger would be the coolest weapon, shortbow would be also fun but I’m pretty sure that we get pistol offhand because Rytlock used one as well.
Torch would be boring because longbow covers this weapon atm.

Anet said no new weapons would be introduced, but that doesn’t mean Spear can’t be brought to land. Though I doubt they’ll put the coding in for that.

I say it’s most likely a Pistol or Dagger off-hand. Hopefully they provide great damage and/or utility

Pistol 4 – pull yourself to a tree
Pistol 5 – headshot yourself
Dagger 4 – cut off your finger to bleed yourself
Dagger 5 – suicide by stabing yourself

You may not want it, but I feel torch fits with the class wayyy too well and that it will probably be the new weapon. Not only that, but giving the torch to the very popular warrior might help people’s perspective on it. Torch isn’t that bad. Really lol. Especially in pvp.

A lot of ‘nopes’ there, in all likelihood, and based off speculative evidence. Also they make sense: ie Guards and Thieves lack long range weaponry.
Rytlock’s pistol use is/was pre-HoT. Nor does that hold any actual bearing on the profession itself. We did not see Rytlock use a hammer, no?

Melee staff will be a dream.
