Is Immobile Strikes really worth the 2 into Vitality when you can put those 2 into Power and give yourself 100 more power + about 1K More health using the Power into Vitality trait.

Seems like you are trading Health + Power for Immobile Strikes when only 1 skill actually uses Immobile Strikes and it literally lasts 1 second.

Frankly I have been playing with the extra power and vitality over the immobile strikes, but I wanted to hear some real PvP’ers opinions.

In many cases, yes it is. Immobilize honestly can disrupt somebody’s rhythm, despite it being as low as a 1 second duration. A person can’t dodge while immobilized save for certain skills, which can be enough for you and your teammates to land additional CC or burst. It can also temporarily prevent certain classes from disengaging. At least, those are some of the things I’ve noticed playing a hambow, or any build that uses the trait. A warrior tends to struggle against classes and players that can kite very well so it helps.

immobilize is soft CC…so it makes hammer 4 CC skills instead of 3 so you can chain CC better, since 3 is ranged and wide and others are telegraphed easily dodge able.

tl;dr : make enemy stay in place so you can hammer him better.

Hammer is one of the weapons with the slowest and most obvious animations. It can be kited fairly well too.

Having an almost instant immob on hammer sets the ground for your CC chain. It’s a very very useful trait (and also another AoE soft CC).
