ok so im using the capt hammer spec

im torn between two types of runes

1-rune of the monk
– +25 heal
– +15% boon
– +50 healing
– %5 chance to gain health when hit
– +90 healing
– using an elite skill grants aegis to all nearby allies

2-rune of mercy
– +25 toughness
– take less dmg reviving
– +35 toughness
– revive allies with 20% more health
– +90
– revive 10% faster

I can raise a fallen team mate real quick and take a ton of damage doing so, but im wondering if it would be better to up my healing even more since my shouts heal allies aswell?

has anyone tried the monk rune?

ps… whats culling mean? they implemented it into wvw and I have no idea what they are talking about

According to the wiki, the Toughness bonus on the Rune of Mercy (second slot) does NOT stack with the trait ‘Determined Revival’. So, if you already have this trait, you would not be getting any bonus from that. The last slot does however stack with the ‘Fast Healer’ so at least your revive speed would increase.

I had been using 2 monk 4 water on my guardian for 30% boon duration and condition removal when hit.

Really hard to go past soldier runes for a shout heal warrior though

culling is when there are players are around you but they have not been loaded in yet so they are invisible.
