Hamstring should poison.

This suggestion is so silly…
Oh, it’s you, Daecollo.
While I would love to have Poison on Sword somewhere, I dunno about Hamstring.
I feel that the cripple helps with not being kited. And of course there’s the fact that they changed Leg Specialist due to Hamstring on auto-attack, so they would pretty much have to revert that.
And honestly, somehow I dislike the idea of our autoattack basically being a copy of Scepter necro.
Hm, yeah, I don’t know that I’d want to lose the cripple. I’ve often wished I had poison though, to the point of using a Doom sigil.

I also used Doom sigil to the point I noteced the enemy healed from 30% hp to 90%+ even if poisoned. I don’t know how but I think they have condi removal on their healing. I thought the guardians doesn’t have something like that but their heal is strong with poison or not.
My Warrior is easily destroyed ele using doom sigil while it procs from autument switching.
I also thought about warrior having poison. I was thinking it should be on third skill cuz it isn’t really that useful for condi warrior. Also the aa chain wouldn’t be copy of scepter necro but more like dagger thief. What’s the difference with dagger thief and scepter necro? Scepter necro is ranged. Freaking fast attacks and ranged. Poison destroying sustain build. That is strooooong.
People seems using word “trolling” out of context way too often…
The Sword’s Autoattack ‘3’ should poison for 4 seconds. Although it doesn’t make much sense (maybe the warrior put poison on his sword for fun?) It would bring the swords condition damage up a little bit.
Horrible idea! Poison?! Clearly you meant Firestorm. OP combo, even in GW1…

Yes, give us firestorm after hamstring in that chain.
I believe we could have a trait that inflicted poison (2sec – 33%, 66% or 100% chance (100% chance with cooldown but with longer duration of poison)) on critical hits or blocks.
Most of the old condi warriors (pre buff) have asked that. I remember posting in a thread about giving the old final thrust poison as a buff quite some time ago.
here is the old thread.

Actually, i don’t think any class should be able to apply permanent poison just by auto-attacking. Maybe necros, because they are meant to be condition masters but the condition should be timed to counter heals and not be spammed.
This does not mean that i’m against giving warriors any way to apply poison. It should be hard to access, however, as condi specs are already in a pretty good shape.

I agree. Warrior isn’t meant to just spam conditions. Bleeding, check. Stun, check. Knockdown, check. Cripple, check. That’s everything they need to pressure, interrupt, KD, and snare.
I agree keep in mind what I posted was in last may before our buff and some people were trying to find a way to make the condi build work. Heck, offhand sword just had the change prior that. Now it look fine.
I’d rather have deep wound on final thrust
Really though I’d rather see its activation time either instant or brought down by a good margin. It’s a spike skill that you have to order from that chinese place across town. Much like axe 4.
who actually wants that? Do we really want to be playing those same game mechanics for
another 5 or 10 years? -Mike O’Brien
