Has anyone else tried a full dire set?
It’s the old meta, just better.
Dire is good to sprinkle in your gear for condi builds, but I wouldn’t go full Dire as a warrior. We already have such a large health pool that stacking vitality becomes less effective.
Instead, I would mix-and-match Settler, Apothecary, and Dire gear until you get a good balance. I usually start with Settler until I get past 2k toughness, then mix Apothecary and Dire evenly. You will end up with like 1100 Condi Damage, 700-800 Healing Power, and 2k+ Toughness. And you should have around 25k health as well.
Also just to note, Settler and Dire have no ascended trinkets available. You can only get Apothecary. So if you are going for full ascended, you may want to start with Apothecary there, and fill in the gaps with Settler/Dire on your armor/weapons.

Didn’t look at settler but there is pretty much a Dire version… major stats are Tough, Vit, Condi…with a paltry 18 in precision.
nice vid mayan
and thanks for the suggestions bear on the job, im not looking for advice on mixing gears though, I already have my gears, im someone that likes to rely more on my build utilities and weapons, that’s why I run full zerkers in wvw , that’s why im asking for build set up ,or i should say traits and utilities, so i can see how other people are doing it so I can expand my knowledge for a condition playstyle

Way back in the days i was running a 0/0/20/30/20 condiwar build with bow+swd/axe ( when the whirl would actually work on axe5) with carrion armor, full dire/carrion stuff and it was alright…
Now with axe5 being broken and the new trait changes I paid the money, respecced and redid another version of this build using full ascended back and it was still quite viable. Food was pizza + crystals.
Went swd/shield+bow def20 (shieldmaster, cleansing ire) tac30 (stronger bowstrings, lung capacity, shoutheals) disc20 (signet mastery, inspiring shouts) and mending,for_great_justice,on_your_mark,shake_if_off,ragesig . You can also flip to regen banners + healsignet if you want to do a 3+layers of regen build.
Full dire armor would also work, but you might lose in power. Already this is a non critty build with stupidly strong conditions (extended by pizza) but it’s a little souless without crits.
For pve it’s strong since you have the resistance, selfheals and condicleanse to stay in the fight,. while your conditions cook the enemies quickly. It’s really difficult to kittenup in pve with this build.
Wuvwuv is also somewhat viable, altho the main issue you’ll have will be overall mobility ( aka you might get run down if you get split from the mob).
Until they fix axe5 ( see https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/VIDEO-Anet-stole-the-pewpews/first#post2608412) i dont think condiwar builds have the edge for wuvwuv…. but that’s my opinion from current observations .
Beware, for Commander Kaga farms j00, ktrainer!

There is actually an ascended backpiece available with dire or settler stats.
If you craft one of the backpieces that had magic find on them, you can choose your stats, when you equip it for the first time.
Even though it uses t6 claws, which is quite cheap compared to other t6 mats, it will still set you back more than 60g.
A combination of apo+dire can also be chosen.
