Hey Warriors,

Kicking around ideas on how to use these perplexity runes effectively. Not sure if anyone has posted anything like this before.

I was shooting for high power and condition damage while picking up more some defense via traits. I wasn’t going to base all my damage upon the success of applying confusion because it’s all about timing which can be pretty tricky in a zerg fight. Play style revolves around causing as much havoc in the zerg and getting out. Not your front line build due to the lower armor but I think it could find its place in a zerg. Where it lacks in condition removal and mobility is where your party/zerg comes in.

Mace off-hand for the knockdown, sword for bleeds and a leap. Hammer for single target knockdown, aoe knockback, and aoe stun. Utilities are up to you but I chose Bull’s Charge, Stomp, and doly sig. The elite I just picked SoR but you could probably get Rampage and do some crazy damage too.

I wish I could pick up all this gear and try it out for you all but I have like 15 gold. Was hoping someone else tested this idea out and confirmed if it was good or not.

The thing about Perplexity runes is this..

“no skill broken runes el oh el merc out 420 blaze it”

People who still run them are bottom feeders.

Perplexity will most likely be nerfed next patch, if not, the patch after that.

No point in buying them now.

If nothing else, I’d advocate another 10 points into Strength for Distracting Strikes. Seems like it’d suit your goals more than Furious would.

hmmm so i guess its like saying people using the self serve cashier at walmart are bottom feeder’s… who gives a crap its in the game use it, yeah it will most likely be nerfed, but hey its there enjoy it, its WvW anyway’s ur there for the fun off rolling nub’s enjoy it man

If your going full condition damage there much better runes to use besides perplexity. Nightmare or undead come to mind. I find perplexity runes to be a better fit on Knights gear and I use confusion damage to suppliment my damage. Rabid+undead is a much better condition set up for me than say rabid+perplexity.
