Healing Signet
I like it as is, tbh. It’s an “oh kitten” button, but with all of our passives (including the passive HS itself), I like that it carries all sorts of risk and has lots of counter play.

I agree with you Biff. Most of us use HS as a “Oh Kitten” button. Our passives heals are great and our condition mitigation is second to none. However, I think the changes that I sugested would make it a more effective tool in our tool box. There are times I’d gladly trade off some of my passive heal for a little extra resistance but unless I have stability or some good terrain to avoid hard CC’s, HS is often interrupted due to it’s slow cast time. Inadvertently changing the name from “Oh Kitten” to “Dead Kitten” button. Lol

Yes lets lower the skill floor even more…..instant casts on everything important! Screw interrupts! HOT META BABY!
And better yet lets take the weakest points of an insanely OP and utility friendly heal and bring them up to those OP levels! All OP items need to be standardized so allll their components are equal!..ok im bored
healing signet is the best utility we own imo. Most people think its the best heal in the game…..thats not something I would claim, but I have a hard time saying it isn’t. I definitely have no evidence it isn’t.
If you really wanna remove the cast time on something it should be signet of stamina. Its passive is 50% endurance regen, and its on press is 12 condi clear……kidna hard to activate a cast for that when u’ve been condi bombed though. And the cd makes the ability pretty unviable. Its a single clear ever 40 seconds or something like that. If you use it to clear a mesmer’s normal 3 condition attack they will just put 3 more conditions on you 1.5 seconds later after you tank the last conditions for 1 seconds doing the cast.
Stamina is a case where you should be rewarded for using it in situations where its meant to be used (clearing a bomb). I shouldn’t need a stability just to use something once in 40 seconds (ruining its passive effect) that does a 1-time clear and has a cast-time allowing the condition to eat at me during.
Not to mention the fact noone has room for it with the need for an unblockable these days and endurepain/berserker stance/stability/outbreak

I prefer the long cast time. 6s resistance is pretty powerful so needs some counter play. And if you press by accident, you can actually cancel cast.

Goes on cd though…..which is pretty bleh idea since it cancels the passive for 3 seconds or whatever. Considering you get 6 seconds resistance and a burst of healing for 17 seconds of cd…..in many cases its better just to let it finish casting if you could use those things.

When it goes on that short cool down it does not cancel the passive, it just means you cannot activate the active effect for 3 seconds. the same goes for when you get interrupted.

Interesting, I’ll have to test that. You would assume any signet on cd would have its passive cancelled.

Healing signet is easily the best heal warriors have. There is a very good reason most builds on metabattle use HS.
If anything the other healing skills need a buff.
