Guild Wars 2

Hello guys my first post here since release (finally my account got fixed to ask on the forums >_>) , when I first play GW2 I’m kinda hesitant about whether begin to play with warrior or guardian. First i play with my guardian and got mixed feelings when I got 80 since when I was leveling I feel that it was too easy, less challenging, then I feel that I need to play warrior since it will be more mobile and flexible. The latter one sure is more flexible than the guardian (correct me if i’m wrong) and I always liked the heavy armor classes but got the mixed feeling whether to choose warrior or guardian as my main.

In GW1 I play warrior and I was shield and sword and hammer, don’t know if in GW2 having a control type build for dungeons is “viable” with warrior and guardian, yeah I like to do DPS in warriors and playing with Greatsword is cool, but sometimes I like playing control type builds.

Help this newbie (yeah I still consider myself a newbie since release and lack of time to play the game) to choose if warrior or guardian. Thanks in advance.

For sPvP, WvW, or PvE?

Control warriors in sPvP and PvE are trash.

In WvW, however, you can use Bull rush + Stomp to get straight into the heart of the enemy and scatter them away.
