Guild Wars 2

So, I can do alright against most other classes 1v1, or I feel like I can. I just don’t know what to do against thieves. It feels like I get them low, they just keep resetting and running etc.

I’ve played s/s longbow, hambow, axebow etc. I’m probably just garbage but I really don’t know what to do against that class when they’re constantly resetting. The thieves I’m talking about are d/p and s/d. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

with 3.6k armor , his attack just a scratch for warrior
switch weapon when thief start to stealth , you can give him some bleeding with sigil of geomancy and perpare to block his sudden attack with shield.

I just like to one-shot them with Eviscerate. Problem solved!

Longbow the entire time and get some conditions on them by having condi sigils on your bow. When they try to run away and use their stealth bubble, pull out your hammer and Earthshaker…. proceed Hammer rotation.

When they become visible they will be downed. Until they run away just use Longbow.

You dont need a bow for a thief..im running sword/shield hamm in wvw and i have no real issues soloing thieves.Use leg specialist for immobi – land your cripples well,and time your knockbacks.Dont just spam away vs a thief,if youre able to lock him down with immobi and a knockback/stun combo,leap when he ports away on kd and earthshake him down after,flurry works wonders aswell with final thrust after 50%.Its just all about timing and anticipating vs thieves,which can be hard at times.

Nicely done… I just go for the Thief deletion…(TURN DOWN THE VOLUME I SCREAM!)

Of course this never happens… the stars aligned perfectly and I rolf’d.
