Help me out please tried a number of builds
Anyone? I will even take basics :-( lots of views but no love.
Me and another warrior dungeon buddy have ran this build in general PvE and Fractals with great success. Shouts heal and remove conditions from you and your party with soldier runes and allow you to take some hits. I use GS mainly but i switch to axe/horn for some fights and LB for ranged fights of course(gun would be fine too i just prefer the LB).
Gear: Full Pow/Pre/Crit dmg except for 2 acc’s that are Tough/pow/pre.

Copy and paste the link or it wont work.
crickits 80 ranger
crickets 80 warrior – current main
For dungeons:

I use this build. But the problem with that build is that it uses consumables.

This is my food-less build variant.
For PvE farming:
Use GS on enemies that aren’t threatening or has a chain CC. The Hundred blades root will never be a weakness for that. Use Axe/whatever for enemies that are threatening. Axe has a higher sustain dps, and you are more mobile that way.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
Thanks all. Appreciate the ideas will check out both of those builds

What are Valk gems? I’m running something like this and am finding my survivability to be lacking.
Yojack build but gear with zerker and axe/warhorn. Less reliant on bleeds with all the overall utility and fun of original with more burst damage for pvp
for pve i use full soldiers armor and jewelry (power/toughness/vitality)
30 in tactics, 20 in defence, 20 in strength running as a shout healer. with the greatsword (yeah i know, no forceful great-sword. sue me) i can stand and tank most mobs for a little bit of time and deal out considerable damage. my rune set is for maxing out my might up time so my for great justice lasts just over 45 seconds.
in dungeons and events i’m easily everyone favorite team member for being able to keep 6 stacks of might on everyone and occasionally 9 for a few seconds.

Sword/shield and hammer, I love this build! You really want to use omnomberry ghosts/pies with it since it’s focused around critting a lot and healing yourself from those crits. Also use maintenance oil!
The way I play it is pure melee, but you could swap out the hammer with a rifle/longbow (I swap to longbow on mandatory range fights). I usually run with Signet of Rage, but use the Battle Standard on dungeon bosses. I also change the defensive traits depending on what I might need, which you can do with a number of traits in this spec, really.
I use knight’s armour (with soldier runes), soldier’s weapons, berserker jewelry and a cavalier’s quiver. Bloodlust sigil on hammer, blood sigil on sword and accuracy sigil on shield. I see some good numbers with this build and I don’t die often, but when I do it’s usually my fault anyway
As a Warrior you have many options how to play your toon. Thats why I like my Warrior because of the versatility.
I leveles with GS signetbuilt untill lvl 20 but got borred
I tried a Ranged built around 50 with rifle and Bow focussing only on ranged skills for Instances. Worked well in groups, worked not so well while soloquesting
I leveled with Sword/Axe till 80 and loved the quick gameplay and movement. At 80 I played a conditionbuilt with lot of precision to trigger bleeds and earth sigil.
Then I tried Dual axe critbuilt with the reduced Cooldown trait in disc which recharged my endurance and game me some survivability. Workt quite well and i do tons of damage.
Right now I save my gold for the runes for my next project: A PvE Crit hammerbuilt with high fury uptime du to crippling wave. I tested it in the mists and it seems like fun. If everything works as I planned I will have 55% base critchance and 75% with fury which should have a quit high uptime. Has some nice defensive too.
If you love the GS (I hate it) there are some GS Shoutheal builts out there.
Wanna roll a Supporter with OK Damage get Axe/Horn and buff your party to the max.
