So that means pve( dungeons, open world) right? And WvW (zerging or roaming) and pvp? That what you mean by all contexts of the game?

pve= berserker mode
pvp = balanced builds , never go over 2800 armor because the damage reduction is poor after 2800. ITry to not go over 50% crit chance aswell because warrior has perma fury , the rest critical dmg.
pvp faceroll ez mode build: 0/10/30/0/30 hammer/LB
pve burst build: 30/25/0/0/15 GS and axe/mace

Get knight armor and zerk jewelry/weaps,or full zerg is fine to if you good at dodge.
Never go over 2800 armor? Seriously? You will be a rally bot for sure with that mentality. It just won’t cut it.

what are you talkibg about, wvw? probably the warrior that runs in blobs spamming 11111111111111 MIGHT want more than that. (MIGHT, because I do not really know, as I do not play wvw that way anymore).
Anything else around 2800 is more than fine.

With 2800 armor, if 20, 30, or 40+ people come at you and alpha strike your group you are going to die really friggin fast. Dodging isn’t enough. You’re a heavy class. You need 3000 minimum. 3200 or higher is really what you should be running and you CAN tell the difference. Glass cannon spamming 1 doesn’t always work in all scenarios. Not trying to fuss. It’s just not beneficial to run light or medium class armor stats when you’re a frontline heavy that needs to stay alive as long as possible.

In a large fight where your 11111 key only is used , yes you might need more
armor but in a 1v1 fight where a brain is used , balanced builds
are way better because as said after 2800 the dmg reduction
is non-existent . Work fine in small group fights aswell .
You must be the GS warrior that runs from fights when you know you’re about to lose. Maybe you got hosed a little too fast? Wonder what would’ve helped in that case?
