Warrior torch I really think might bring something new to the class. I’m thinking it won’t be a basic throw at enemy and burn for 3 seconds either curious what the class mechanic could be.

Revenant finally made a useful shield for elite so I’m tali hoping for a useful torch.

I do not play warrior ever but kind of excited to see this

Lol what? Guardian torch is insane for their burst build and basically all their burn application comes from it.

Mesmer torch rarely used? It’s used in 99% of the PVP specs…

Guardian have, ahem, slightly better burn traits than warrior. And warrior definitely will not get mesmer mechanic.

Of course they have better traits. Warrior doesn’t have burn XD (yet)

Oh gosh I’m not against the other torches I myself use torch in my guardian scepter all the time. Just noting it’s buggy as heck when you throw it, very slow and misses a lot and always hits ground and misses frequently. Just hope warrior torch is overall better

A shield that heals, provides protection, causes no damage for 4 seconds while healing……I personally don’t know how a shield can be any better then that. Sorry it doesn’t do 10k damage a second like you wanted but it does what a shield should do. Protects you and keeps you alive

As far as “Only Revenant has a useful shield now” comment; I like my shield 5 now as it is. Can block for 3 seconds and run away while reflecting projectiles and gaining might. Shield 4 though is kind of boring, but ensures an Eviscerate most times.

Torch if it is a burning weapon will have the burn traits in the line anyway.

Rev shield 4 is great but their shield 5 is meh and as a warrior I like my shield stance more.

As long as Rev shield roots is just going to delay the inevitable on top of the risk of you getting stunned in a zerg. Might not even need a zerg in fact, mace shield warrior says hello to revenant...

That said they will probably fix revenant shield 5 and make it better than ours. They listen a lot to Rev feedback. I don’t think they liked their new class being a catastrophe in the first beta.

I’m guessing you only play PvE.

Even in PvE the Sinister builds with burns outdps the zerk ones in long fights nowadays.

Mesmer torch is all over the place in PvP.

Sorry I am a pve player, I don’t do pvp. I was looking at a pve view
