It’s not that bad.. Considering Engies are still almost useless and Thieves probably can still perma invis.

Forceful Shot got a nice buff though. Activation time isn’t to much of a hassle. Although I was hoping they would fix the Revenge bug that causes you to die twice.

I was hoping for some bug fixes and maybe a boon (protection, retal, etc.) or two =)

Back to the shelf. No reason to play a Warrior over a Guardian in sPvP really.

Our Condition builds are terrible, we have no bunker build that is viable (compared to other classes) and our burst build only works against teams you are most likely beating anyway.

The first warrior bug fixes since the game went live, and they fixed actual 1 bug (battle standard) and one that nobody knew or cared about (stomp having a bit of extra delay after using it).

As for “what is Forceful Shot”, it’s the Harpoon burst skill. From the looks of things they’ve decided to fully mirror Kill Shot to it (at the moment it’s like Kill Shot’s little brother, doing less damage but having a shorter cast).

Worried about Brutal Shot: currently it does 5 stacks of vulnerability, but unless I am mistaken it now only does 2? Or does it mean it can apply the 5 stacks twice?

Necros are still oozing bugs out of every orifice and some of them are more or less gamebreakingly horrible. They get 2 minor bugfixes while the major bugs actually accumulate with every patch
Engineers have it similar
Rangers are nerfed to ground

And you guys are complaining that mobility buff, a 70% damage increase on an already OP weapon skill and a decent bugfix are “not enough”!
Ever thought that maybe other classes are way more deserving of the unwarranted attention you’re getting?

Yeah okay.

You can take away all the stuff I got in patch, ok? Give me fix to the rather warrior-defining trait that bugs every fight, and to rifle’s main dps skill not benefiting from rifle trait.

It’s the first time warriors are even mentioned in patch notes. Don’t be surprised the players have had some priorities in mind and are let down.

And you guys are complaining that mobility buff, a 70% damage increase on an already OP weapon skill and a decent bugfix are “not enough”!

Why was the underwater skill they buffed OP? Do you think Anet thought it was good if they found cause to improve damage by fricking 70%?

Don’t talk about things you have no clue about. I agree that tremor buff is nice, but Forceful shot is or was in no way “OP”. It was horrible. Banner bugfix was a critical one, not nice getting 180s cd when interrupted. Warriors are as full of bugs as necros honestly, a lot of broken traits, weapon skills not responding/working properly. We just QQ less, because well…we’re warriors.

It strikes me as odd why other classes come to the warrior forums(or just any other forum than their own class’) to seemingly grief and say stuff like “omg why are you complaining!”.
To such people, I ask you to do this : check your facts, you sad little clowns.There is not a single warrior in the tPvP competitive teams.Not ONE.As said before, this is the first time since release of game that we get some bug fixes, albeit lacking.

So the only thing warriors got was the tremor change for pvp.

They made elementalists (who are already hard as hell to kill as they ALL spec dagger sceptre healing/tank spec) even harder to kill? and added another cripple into their earth line….wow, just wow. They also upped their healing!!!! Seriously

We get stuck with throw hammer still as a downed state?

Wow.. I forgot that we have a spear gun.. Now when they’ve reminded me this and gave me completely OP skill I’ll go and kill some barracudas! HAHAHA!
But I’m happy that they’ve started to repair bugs. Gives hope for the future.

Sadly, Harpoon is still woefully underpowered compared to Spear in underwater combat.

Warriors still have virtually no CC abilities (except Harpoon’s single-target immobilize Knot-Shot – a pitiful 2s immobilize on a 25s cooldown) and Spear’s F1 Whirling Strike. It’s no wonder every warrior uses Spear (2-3 times the damage, up to 3 targets hit on every ability and the only half decent CC but still tied to adrenaline mechanic)…sigh

Forceful Shot damage increase is laughable if that is all ANet has planned.

Warriors don’t float.

You guys realize that Guardians are still running with traits like +5% damage with maces, +5% damage with swords and spears, torch skills recharge 15% faster, etc. and they’re still getting NERFS?

We can’t just walk up to things and instagib them with one skill either so I’m not sure we’re the class that actually needs the nerfs.

There is absolutely no reason to take a Warrior over a 10/30/30/0/0 Guardian, none in sPvP.

The problem is Toughness is a crap PVP stat and the Warrior has no good boon access, almost 0 combo field generation and plenty of crappy passive traits.

I think someone else said it best when ‘we think of roles in sPvP, there is always another class that fills it better than Warrior’.

Bunker – Guardian/Ele (prob more Ele now) >>Engineer>> Warrior
DPS Bunker – Mesmer >>> Warrior
Roamer – Thief, Mesmer, Engi Ele, DPS Guardian >>> Warrior
Treb Killer – Ele >>>> everyone else
Treb Holder – Mesmer >>> everyone else

Think role. Most classes have a ‘reset’, we don’t.

Thief – stealth
Mesmer – too much crap to list
Ele – mistform, etc.
Guardian – invuln, heals (boon, first heal is 8k, etc.)

Warriors, Rangers, Engis (in some regards) need resets.

Anyway, done with this class for now. The best thing about GW2 is that we don’t have to level up to play.

This Guy has a good point, Warriors at the bottom at most task if not all.
