There’s a lot of things good about warrior— too many to post in one forum reply!

My favorite part about it is how it’s refreshingly intuitive by comparison with some other classes. While some may find it to be boring, others will find it to be comfortable.

The thing about warrior is that it’s easy to play, but difficult to master. It is the strongest offensive buffer in the game and also one of the strongest classes damage-wise in a solo setting.

If you’re interesting in learning a lot about what it has to offer (at least in PvE), feel free to check out the guide on dulfy:

Warrior is usually the starter choice because it’s simple. (‘Simple’ compared to learning engi kits, ele’s elements, or mesmer.) Personally, I find warrior boring. Most trait for high damage capacity and use passive utilities. So, it’s just a matter of clicking some weapon skills without a ton of variety. Your mileage may vary.

I made a warrior and honestly I regret it. Don’t take it the wrong way! They do great damage and provide a lot of support with banners and shouts, and they can halve their weapon swap time to 5 seconds compared to other classes having to wait ten. And they have stances which is say are probably the most powerful defensive skills in the game I’d say, only held back by their long cooldown.

They are also very flexible, every warrior weapon fulfills a specific niche be it Condi, group CC, single target CC defense, mobility. Compared to other classes whose weapons can have a bit of two functions.

Overall, warrior isn’t for me, it deals high damage but it’s really….what’s the word….repetitive? And the fact they have a tool for near every situation makes them a bit boring. BUT these are my reasons, some of which are what people say they love about warrior, and it’s a good starter class. Give Em a shot.
