How horrible am I going to die in PvP with this build.
Everything is viable.
Oke well maybe not everything. But with a ‘squishy’ build, you just have to pick your fights. I see that you have endure pain. You can still make it work. A GS has mobility. When you notice that you’re getting screwed you can always pop your 4 to slow the enemy followed by > endure pain > 3 > 5 and you should have a fair distance between you and your enemy. Stall, heal, go back in.
What im trying to say is…. You wont know untill you try for yourself.
About your skills…
Frenzy is kind of hard to hit without a solid snare/stun/knockdown … any kind of hard crowd control. You should try using it in combination with bullrush/throw bolas.
You could trade dolyak signet for bullrush/throw bolas/shake it off. But stability is handy aswell.

Just so you know, both swap hands and the trait that makes you run faster when wielding melee weapons in the discipline line are broken. Some of those points may be better spent in defense until they are fixed but that’s up to you. For example 15 in defense would give you regen, and you could get Turtle Defense (+200 toughess when crippled etc.) for the 10 trait. Also I’m not really sure how useful Dolyak Signet actually is. Consider shake it off! for condition removal or the endurance regen signet which cures all conditions when activated.
In any case it’s not the end of the world, if you feel you are too squishy then put some superior soldier runes on your armor, or anything that gives toughness/vit (in your case you should prioritize toughness since just above 1000 is pretty close to base).
Just my opinions! Experiment and see what works for you
2 Mesmer (sPvP only)
You are just going to have to change your tactics. Your build is still viable in WvW. You take the role of a skirmisher instead of a heavy infantry.
Let the tanky people get in the front to distract them, while you hide from behind and hundred blade them to death then quickly retreat.
Remove Dual axe and put in Sword/warhorn for mobility. They can be a cheap Masterwork item. They exist for mobility. When you hundred blade an enemy, quickly retreat back to your group for safety so you can prepare the next hundred blades.
Always have a friend that has high survivability and good CC next to you and as a party member. In a small skirmish battle of around 2v2, you can slay one person and it becomes a 2v1. Then, your friend will immobilize the other person and slay him down too.
tl;dr, this is a good team build, but not as a zergling build.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
Thanks for the feedback guys!
How did you spend 40g on any set? 10g is more then enough!
OP was ripped off or bought the very VERY expensive runes/sigils.
Just keep your strengths in mind when attacking. You will not survive a long engagement, so try to hit people so hard they don’t know what happened, and flee.
In regard to those questioning the price I payed for my gear, I’m talking about EVERYTHING. Exotic armor, all exotic Trinkets, an exotic greatsword and 2 exotic axes.
Each armor piece cost me on average 2g 65s, the trinkets were just a hair above or below 3 gold.
So, 2.65*6 = 15.9 gold. and 3*6 = 18 gold. Weapons were about 3 aswell. 3*3 = 9.
16+18+9 = 43
In order to get that amount of gold, you should have more than enough mats for mystic weapons, Or spend like 2 g upgrading craft from 0-400 and then crafting each piece for 1g each
Crafting items yourself is typically either (a) too time consuming to farm mats or (b) is actually more expensive than buy orders. Being 400 Armorsmithing, I can vouch for this.
I, too, have made the mistake of full Berserker as far as my primary armor goes, sans Gloves/Boots… hence why I am sitting here reading this thread. I have been using dual Axes and Rifle, and the above observations are about right: you have to have a lot of mobility and break snares. I tend to focus on doing single strays and group damage, but always having an escape route or being with others at all times.
I’m getting a little tired of this; however, especially since I thought of a Warrior as being to handle his own rather than being owned by most geared classes because of an apparent lack of toughness or not following some stupid cookie build (the allure of GW2). I already dropped $$ for a Mystic Axe, so I find myself incredibly hesitant on just ditching it, as I’m rather poor and still lacking other gear. The one build I heard works with our gear is Longbow/Gun and just smashing face from afar in WvW. I have yet to test this, though I would like to hear if someone has.
Edit: I have no idea as far as 1v1 battles go. I tend to lose these almost 80% of the time thanks to the favor of ranged anyway (and the lack of toughness, I guess). A Longbow/Gun build would probably be for group battles only, not 1v1.
Revisiting one of the original questions: what gear/set stats matches a WvWvW damage build that allows for better survivability? Is the Heavy Aurora Karma the typical choice?

I just spent like 40g on my ’Berserker’s’ armory and now it’s looking like a huge mistake.
I’ve been reading the forums a lot and by the sound of it I’m going to get thrashed in PvP. High damage warriors aren’t viable in PvP (So I’ve heard over and over.)
As I said, I’ve got full exotic Berserker’s armor, putting me at roughly 2.2k Power, 55% base crit chance with 105% crit damage. My toughness is just a hair above 1k. My armor is roughly 2.1k. I have 19.5k Health.
I use a greatsword and dual axes (Likely to change one of these.)
My skills are Mending, Dolyak Signet, Frenzy, Endure Pain, and Signet of Rage.
My traits are 10/30/0/0/30. I used to have 10 in Defense for Sure Footed, but it doesn’t work, so I switched to Strength for the bonus health.
I guess my reason for posting this is to find out if I can salvage a build using this gear and be viable. Would I be able to switch my traits around to become more durable, and still maintain high damage? If so how? What skills should I dump in favor of what other skills?
It seems that the only defensive ability you have is endure pain. That’s just not enough.
I generally can’t understand how people can stand being so soft and squishy. In WvW you will die to aoe attacks constantly and therefore be a complete waste of space.
Furthermore, the build is overused and therefore also extremely predictable. If you want to be an offensive, but extremely squishy warrior, go ranged.
