Wondering what amount of toughness one would recomend a warrior have for wvw? I am going to make a friend a new set of armor and was wondering if all berserkers draconic with knights jewelry/guild back pack suffice?

That should suffice, but the thing that will usually kill you ( speaking for myself ) is conditions over raw physical damage. I run Knights armour with ’zerk accessories and I do fine. You spec and weapon choices are the biggest determiner as to how much toughness is viable. With that said as a general rule of thumb, sub 1400 can lead to problems.

I try to be over 3,000 armour. Everyone will give you a different answer

Right now he is in full draconic knights gear with orichrum zerker rings, earnings, amulet and the lvl 80 guild assassins back pack with a zerk jewel in it. Not sure if it his build that is lacking or what not although his damage output does not seem to be as high as warriors I have had beating on me. Had a rifle warrior hit me for 14k today on my character (ranger) in exotic clerics gear.

Full Cavalier Accessories with Rubys
This puts you at like 37% damage reduction I believe.

Weapons: Hammer/Greatsword
Utilities:
6 – Mending (You will always use adrenaline whenever you have F1 up with hammer, so Mending turns out to be a stronger heal… also condition removal which you need
7. Bolas (Let’s you land a full HB)
8. Bull’s Charge
9. Stomp
10. Signet of Rage

Sigils and foods can be replaced.
Super beefy, tons and tons of stuns, knockdowns, etc. etc…
High combat movement with GS.. and utilize F1 hammer off CD, don’t wait for full bar.
