Hi, I’m a lvl 50 Charr Warrior and I’m all the time wearing similar-looking armor to the one at the beginning. Where can I buy some fancy armor? Or how do I get one?

Armor crafters make a new armor skin every 10 lvls. This is divided in blue quality and green quality. In other words, lvl 10 armor is blue and 15 is green, but both share the same skin, most armor skins come from this.

Some unique armor is obtained by completing maps such as the pit fighter set.

Each race got a cultural set of armor which is relatively expensive.

Each faction of the personal story line also got it’s own set of armor.

Personal story also provide some unique skins.

Karma vendors and Dungeon token farmers are also a source of unique armor.

My faction (Vigil) has armors for level 80, at least in the place where I was looking – the Vigil Keep. Karma vendors in Lion’s Arch also have only level 80 sets. I didn’t get any cool looking armor nor weapon from my story line.

Any suggestions?

Pre-80: go shopping at heart vendors in Iron Marches.

you can buy high level armour up to lvl79 for a few very cheap off the TP and transmute it onto your gear with the basic transmution stones
