Guild Wars 2

I played GS/Hammer since I started warrior when game came out, I loved the combo and made tons of roaming videos for 1vx, now Iv’e come back after an almost 9 month hiatus and found that they aren’t very synergistic anymore with the changes to the trait lines <sad face>

I guess I may go GS w/ axe/shield, anyone have an idea on how to build for optimal roaming and 1vx now with these combos?

What have they done to my beloved warrior?

I use GS/axe+shield so hopefully I can provide some useful tip on 1vx situations. Usually my rotations are:

GS 4 -> dodge/roll -> GS 3 -> GS 5 -> dodge/roll -> GS 2 -> F1 -> swap -> Shield 4 (CC) -> Axe 2 + 1 spam -> By this time they should be running away Axe 3 -> F1 (CC) -> Swap

I mostly use the CC skills as gap closers and use shield 5 based on the situation. Not sure if this is a popular rotation however I have had very, very good results (and a lot of fun) in sPvP and WvW with these combos.

How do your traits look?

I use Strength 3/5/7 + Discipline 2/5/8 + Defense 2/6/8. Never had any issues with these traits. Defense 8 is awesome and also provides free adrenaline when you’re using Shield 5

GreatAxe or ShoutBow are best choice currently, especially for pvp, or probably for wvwer it can be wvw gvg build or something. Not sure tho since i am massive pvper.-.-

I still wish they would have made all new weapons and given us access to a Great Axe, I want big 2h axes!
