Guild Wars 2

So you have all this great concept art out there that Anet releases week after week, thats on loading screens etc of armor that actually looks great. Case in point. Then you have Armor from games like TERA and Lineage that both have TIES to ncsoft which have ties to anet and we get trash like Ascended.

What gives?

I’d really like some aesthetic upgrades in the future, some of the armor in game is absolutely horrendous. Add cloaks, give us more options, the art team is sucking!

I really wish we had more cloaked/robed/trenchcoat style armor to choose from. Every time I try and get a new look for my Warrior it’s always using the same leggings. And since 95% of the boots available clip through those the draconic legs, I’m usually using the same boots as well.

Well it would be nice to get new armor looks and I would love to have symmetric ones. For some reason Anet makes left side different from right side of the armor for males. I really want symmetric armors. There are few though. To think of it there might be near 50% symmetric armors and 50% non…

Just needs a lot more skins. Give players looks to choose from.

Capes! I want CAPES Maybe guild logo on capes?

Art in Guild Wars 2 is amazing! Ascended heavy armor skin is a bit weird ._. But I got my other skins for it anyways.

Oh gosh yes. So boring. Especially female heavy armor. Go sl*t or go home! No there are some heavy armors that cover up but they just look pretty hideous. Overall there’s just not enough choice. Even the gem shop stuff is just ugly, IMO. I buy gems like mad but I’ve only ever purchased one light armor set for my necro.

I really feel that introducing new armors every few months would really up player enjoyment in the game, and also sell more gems for ANet as people use more transmuttaion crystals. Win for all. Sometimes it seems they have maybe one person working on armor and he/she ran out of ideas before launch. And this is obviously not the same person who does the loading screen art.

Except if they do introduce new armor skins they’ll be in the gemstore (they act as just skins and you just apply to another item) thus making transmutation crystals useless unless you plan to transmute it multiple times.

Yeah this exactly, every single concept photo art of warrior I see is a human is some awesome armor or human/norn T3 with an amazing cloak/scarf type apparatus, like grenth hood was a perfect example of what they could do minus the horrendous facial mask.

I’d just like some brutal armor/weapons. Most ingame items are rather sissy, with shiny crap everywhere…
So far I only like the barbaric and the gladiator sets. Weapons? Hardly any…

So add some brutal stuff in it, give some big fur cloaks, cut the crap with the shiny stuff…

Or am I playing the wrong game?

really miss some of the gw1 armor sets.
