Got interested in warrior in pve, but a lot of pov videos on raids only use greatsword as the PS build. So is axe main hand still a good option in pve? Thanks!

Axes have not been considered a good main hand weapon for a long time now. The old PS build only ever used it as a starting weapon and then never swapped back during the fight.

And it is worse now. The PS build has no room for an Axe anymore. You will either have Mace/Mace or Mace/Shield as your other weapon set.

You could do a pure damage build like GS/Axe STR-DISC-BER. The Axe AA benefits a lot from all of that quickness. That build will never outdamage the burnzerker or be as desired as PS in parties, though.

Plus pure GS STR-ARMS-BER is probably more pure dps anyway, because while Axe does benefit a lot from Quickness, the GS build benefits a lot from Quickness too AND it benefits an enormous amount from Alacrity which the axe build does not.
