My trait
strength 10-berzerker power
arms 30-rending strike, deep cuts, forceful greatsword
defence 0
tactics 30-empower allies, shrug it off, lung capacity
discipline 0

Healing skill: Healing surge
Utiliy: Endure pain, shake it off, for great justice
Elite: Signet of Rage

Power: 1,655
Precision: 1,757
Toughness: 1,231
Vitality: 1,270

Attack: 2,755
Critical chance: 44%
Armor: 2,442
Health: 23,227

I’m using a greatsword and i am wearing full knight set.

I noticed sometimes i still die from time to time in dungeons.

Is there a way to improve my trait to improve survivability? And aside from survivability, is my attack and critical rate good enough? Hope someone can enlighten me with it, please also include trait skills associated with the traits.

Thanks:)

How can you wear full Knight set and still only have 2.4k armor? That doesn’t sounds right.

What is your secondary weapon? Deep cuts is not a good choice if you are not using 1h sword or rifle,. Your survivability should be enough with shake it off and endure pain. If you still feel like dying a lot, try to use shield, the block stance give u extra 3 sec to get out of the battle, and try to dodge a lot. In dungeons sometime you have to pull back and use range no matter what build you are. No build in any classes can stay alive in melee 100% of the time in dungeon.

so i would say change your hole tactics tree and 1 of your arms trees…

for the arms tree drop rendering strikes or deep cuts which ever and pick up opprtunist
for tactis i would get leg specialist, inspiring banners, inspiring battle standard.

now the 2 traits opportunist and leg specialist make it so when you blade trail you gain fury per target hit so hit multiple targets get multiple stacks.

so that being said i would drop for great justice on your utility skill bar and get banner of discipline it will give you 100% regen uptime and another 90percision. keep endure pain and keep shake it off.

you will still maintain your dps and keep your fury stacks with blade trail but you will have 100% regen you dont have to carry the banner either just plant it and forget it. still buffs you and it has a very nice radius.

I have no idea too, i was thinking my armor would hit 2.9k if i wear full knight. I haven’t put any runes on it. I’m using gs/rifle. Any comments regarding the rest of my traits?

Actually from what i see, i can only give up rendering strikes instead of deep cuts because both rendering strikes opportunist are master trait and deep cuts is adept trait. So its like deep cuts, opportunist and forceful greatsword. And according to Freezenox, deep cuts isn’t that good, so should i switch it for something else in the adept section? For accessories, i’m using berserk spineguard with ruby jewel and 2 ruby oricha earing of berserkers. The other three of my accessories aren’t worth mentioning as i got them for the story.

Another question, what runes should i use on my knight armor set? Should i concentrate on bringing my attack up now or my defence?

rendering strikes is a adept skill so is deep cuts. i personally like rune of the pack.. cause in reality its cheaper then runes of the eagle lol i would go with more attack runes what ever ya go with.

If disregarding the price, which is the better rune, comparing the power and crit.

Damage-wise power beats precision every time unless you have extremely high critical damage and power (with pow pre tou armor this doesn’t happen). Up to you how much you value on-crit effects.
Glass-cannon melee should be fine for every dungeon out there (excluding 30+ level fractals, not that far but estimate). Best thing you can improve is your dodging skills and positioning. This requires learning your enemies so expect problem in beginning.
To make it bit easier you should get toughness (which you have), some self-support (3 shouts with healing shouts and soldier runes is quite solid) and ranged-swap (which you have).
So all in all, dodge better.

Orbs should beat every rune stat-wise (except Divinity). Up to you how much you value other effects (which you should, if not find another rune).

One last question, since I have so many tactics trait boosting my banners. Should I change my elite skill from signet of rage to battle standard?

In the tougher dungeons, enemies will shred tanky builds up just as fast as glass cannon builds. If you want to survive, you’re just gonna have to learn how to dodge well.
