I’m not sure about integrating off hand sword into the auto attack animation. Dual wielding full sized weapons isn’t as good as fantasy games would have you believe.
Go find 2 sticks of what you feel is roughly “sword” length, hold one in each hand and try swinging them about. It’s cumbersome (the weapons get in each others way), slow (you might think it’s faster, but delivering a full blow requires putting your entire body into the swing) and requires extra energy(two heavy blades instead of one), and to take full advantage of it requires you to be highly ambidextrous(which isn’t that common/simple to achieve).
It makes more sense as it is now, with the auto attack chain purely using the main hand weapon, while the off hand is used for specific moves.

No one care about realism.

The bleeds need to be changed into something more like torment to be viable, as it last cleansed. There is no amount of immobilize that is going to make up for eviscerate or 100b doing 10k crits if other classes have so much cleansing and stun breakers.

Warriors need something like conditions that bypasses armor rating altogether to deal their damage. With all these ‘armor skills/boons’ that mitigate damage we need a counter. Even go as far as natural boon removal as a trait, chance at skill interrupts and breaking channel skills.

Sword 4 does cause torment. All conditions do bypass armour/toughness. Add superior runes that poison on weap swap and longbow Cripple>bleeds>torment>poison>burning>immobilize>blind That’s 7 conditions, 5 of which are conditions that all bypass armour.

Been running duel swords in hotjoin for a few weks now. They are ready work awesome. To get the most out of them you just need to select your sigils wisely. I don’t see the need for any changes to them.

Its the #3 sword ability that is the worst in the game currently. i currently run s/s + LB and god this is one ability i never ever use.

No reasonable player is going to stay foot and wait for you to cast that ability. There are other skills that do more damage and are way less predictable. Even axe #2 is better than it.

It’s true for a Condition build. But in my currently Sw+Wh/Gs build, running PVT armor/weaps + Zerk trinkets, I usually hit between 8 and 11k on crit with 3. And the combo Flurry/Swap/100b force them to dodge so you can easily land your Final thrust.

That’s just this skill isn’t fitting in a condition build and Sword MH is often considered as a condition weapon. But it’s partially true, it offers much more than conditions, high mobility, a kitten ton of cripple and/or immobilize (Flurry/Leg specialist) and a decent amount of damage on 1 & 3.

But I still prefer the Sw+(Sw/Wh/Sh)/Lb condition Bunker build Even if less effective.

Final Thrust needs a buff somewhere along these lines:

Striking a foe under 25% HP converts all your damaging condition on foe into direct damage.

To make it worthwhile on condi builds.

some fixes are in need for a few sets of off hand weapons is

- sword (currently in BEST spot thought, but) #5 is good, nothing needed to be changed.

  1. could be improved as mentioned above – pull, leap etc or make RADIUS of ripost skill bigger, so people will be able to get out their sword with bigger chance or leap 300-400 range to 200 radius and pull the sword out enemie with higher dmg or some effect like daze would be good

- axe, currently weakest secondary weapon the skill #5 doesn’t give you much dmg as 100bl even with MAX dmg multipliers (forcefull gs for gs and axe mastery for 2 axes) but got pretty long casting time and u can get retaliation back with more dmg, or make it reflect projectiles as thief’s stolen whirling axe. #4 could have bigger dmg because of 2 axes involved etc

-mace, #4 stack vurn #5 knockdown projectile…not bad i would say i’ts #4 in list after shield, warhorn adn sowrd. but still kinda goes out of pvp meta (still in pve meta because of invurn), because other options bringing more on a table.

- shiled – meta. nothing needed to change. it’s balanced.
- warhorn – metaaaaaOUT. why nerf?
