Jebro's Hammer/Longbow Build Guide Vid!
Couple quick tips for any Warriors looking to use this build.
COUNTERS to this build is a good S/D thief or someone that can Blind Spam.
SOLO VS TEAM – Lyssa Rune and Signet of Rage for Solo Queue and Divinity Rune and War Banner for Team Queue.
CLEANSING IRE – Longbow F1 Burst is a 100% condition removal with the Cleansing Ire trait. Hammer F1 has to hit the enemy to proc the Condition removal (blind or miss and you do nothing), so for consistent condition removal use the longbow.
UTILITIES – The reason for double Stability utilities is to beat other warriors running Ham/bow or Decap Engineers (Engineers that use knockbacks to neutralise a point) – Whoever out of the 2 warriors have more stability wins the fight 1v1.
Both Skills are BREAK STUNS, use them as break stuns and don’t use until after you are stunned, once stunned, use immediately – this means you do not waste the stability.
You are a TEAM FIGHT MACHINE, you can easily turn the tide of a fight with your AoE stuns from the hammer, prevent ressing/stomping on allies with the CC from Hammer is a must.
Try to save Stability utilities for Stomps or ressing.
Use Balance Stance before Dolyak Signet. – Might seem obvious to some but the passive from Dolyak is +180 toughness, also your Balanced stance will be ready before Dolyak signet would be (shorter cooldown) so you can get 2 uses during 1 fight out of the Balance stance.
DODGES – Use your dodges well when fighting other Ham/Bows – Hammer is the most telegraphed weapon on the warrior, knowing what the F1 leaping Hammer burst looks like can win you fight if you dodge them 100% of the time.
BERSERKER STANCE – Don’t waste your Berserker Stance. I see warriors use Berserker stance when running into a fight to open with the F1 skill. WASTED!
Begin in longbow while running into the fight, swap weapons to hammer once you reach melee (this procs +5 adrenaline and 1 might stack) a few auto attacks and the Cleasing Ire Trait to gain adrenaline when hit puts your adrenaline up in no time.
You are able to eat many conditions before the need for Berserker Stance to be used, mainly against Engi/Necro other professions aren’t a real issue.
Use Berserker Stance against thieves that blind spam with D/P – they will think you can’t hit them and die quickly in a CC chain.
HAMMER Combo’s.
3 Bars of Hammer F1 +3 auto attacks
Hammer 4 + auto attack (wait for them to dodge after they get up) + F1
Hammer 4 + Hammer 5 + auto attack.
Use Longbow 5 for the immobilised to set up your Hammer Stuns since they cannot dodge while immobilised.
HEALING SIGNET – Your Healing Signet is in fact a Skill that can be used. If you Died and didn’t use Healing Signet you are doing it wrong. Yes, the passive is strong and you want it up as much as possible but not at the expense of your life, a quick 3.5K heal can allow you to run away and come back later to fight again saving your team from giving away precious 5 points or a team fight rally.
VENGEANCE – Never use Vengeance (downed state 3) unless you can res/stomp in those 12 seconds. You are wasting your own respawn timer doing so.
TURN AUTO ATTACK OFF! (Ctrl +right click 1). Not only do you no longer hurt yourself when Confusion is on you but, If you are getting hit by the hardest counter to this build imo, a good S/D thief, time your attacks when they stop evading. – now learn the timing on the evade and get it right to smush that thief with a couple hits.
BAIT THE DODGES. If you are fighting someone 1v1, just save your DPS Burst after they have dodged 2 times quickly. Most of the time players waste dodges needlessly, use auto attacks and low cooldown skills such as Hammer 2/3 to bait out enemy dodges, once you reach 2, open up your DPS with the hammer combo’s mentioned above. It’s simple and once you realise this, you can win most 1v1 fights, this also makes you look at your own dodges and if you are wasting them.
Here is my variant on Jebs build;

Its a little more DPS. I feel Dodged march a need nowadays with all the Ham/Bows running around, you can’t be immobilised any more than you have to be + the necro Death shroud 5 is a pain. The regen also synergies’ well with Healing Signet and Adrenal Health for super regen (careful of poison).
The trait Unsuspecting Foe gives you 93% crit chance against Stunned enemies without Fury Boon and the sigil +5% damage on Hammer means, this +merciless hammer, hits hard like a truck on stunned enemies.
I Team Queue so take the Divinity and Warbanner as shown above in the build, this comes with the trait in discipline; Warriors sprint (move faster with melee weapons) to compensate for no Signet of Rage Swiftness. If you solo Queue take Lyssa Runes, Signet of Rage and swap this trait to Signet Mastery.

Great topic. Good advice.
Hulk Roaming Montages/Build Vids
I always rage but never quit.
Personally I’ve become accustomed to 15/0/25/0/30 which keeps up DPS while dodging around and regaining endurance while using burst skills. I use either weapon swap poison or dodges depending on whether I have to duel or tank.
Vigor on stances isn’t a bad trait with this build. I feel it will be very strong once I manage to master it. Unfortunately I had to give up on using Merciless Hammer in order to try out this trait set-up, implementing the dodge rolls into doing damage. Biggest I’ve critted with a dodge was over 4k. Unless I’m sleep-walking I feel confident in duels and can tank 1vX for a long amount despite being zerker.
I understand it’s probably not the most optimal warrior build but I wanted to try something that would better suit my defensive/countering warrior style of gameplay.
