Hey guys i just leveled my war 0-80 in crafting today and i was hoping someone could post a pure zerker dps build for me with some short notes on how to play it. Also some fractals tips would be nice.

Might wanna hold off on a zerker set (assassin set is coming).

Basically zerker version with precision as the primary stat instead of power (making 100% crit easier). Its precision power crit damage instead of power precision crit damage.

Looks like more update potential for my Knights/Cavalier hammer build.

i believe zerk stats will still be the way to go, after all crit chance is based on power no point getting an extra crit every so often just to do less dmg on all your other hits. So imo dps will prob be reduced.

What ever floats your boat. Just saying the option for 100% crit chance through assassins gear is gonna be there.

Can someone please provide a link with the details of all the new “stat” combos that are coming out and when? I heard something about “dire” stats as well. I’m really curious as to what’s coming out…………….

Personally, I believe the best advice you could possibly get is: make your build yourself. The difference in feeling between a build you have hand-crafted to fit your playstyle and a build you copied is really incredible. Sure, you can run a build that is proven to be 8.3% more effective than its next-best popular counterpart, but you will, more likely than not, spend a lot of time lying on the floor in quite severe humiliation. Dont be afraid to experiment, and keep looking until you find one that you like.

The builder got updated. Here’s the difference on a full zerk vs a sin/zerk killshot warr. I traded 46.79 epower for 5% crit (netting me a total of 90% crit for non burst and 100% crit for burst).

The builder won’t save the manually added stats (280 pow from signet and food, 180 prec from signet, 10% crit damage from food) or the buffs (3might from FGJ and 100% fury from FGJ and SoR). Also note that the weapon upgrade slot is empty.

Guys, he asked for a “pure DPS build”, not a hypothetical DPS build, c’mon.
Everyone here knows that 30-0-0-10-30 Axe+Mace/GS is the only way to go. Please stop linking non-pure DPS builds. You are off-topic.

Note: There may be some differences when the new Assassin stat will be released, but the basic concept stay the same (unless some major changes to skill ratios/traits).

The answer is still the same, everything is well explained. Anyway 6, 8 and 12. I prefer 3 over 8, because often enemies don’t have any boon.

A pure dps build will look a lot like 30/10/0/0/30 or 30/20/0/0/20. Both are viable and powerful builds. But, as Lampshade mentioned, it would be better if you made and customized your own build based on your comfort zones and play style. The above build is not without weakness. For one thing, you’ll be downed a lot because your traits are focused on damage-dealing.

I hate getting downed, or taking damage like a weeping child, so I made my own build. Mine is 0/20/20/30/0. It’s a defensive build that utilizes banners for healing, adrenal health, and cleansing ire for increased survival. I also use IX on tactics 20 (quick breathing) for condition conversion. And my build isn’t without offense either; arms 20 uses rending strikes/deep strike and forceful greatsword to melt my enemies. I gear up with full berserker stats (armor, accessories, and jewels). My armor has +boon duration runes for personal reasons, but you can use berserker runes if you want more damage. I use healing signet + mango pie (or omnomberry stuffs, but I prefer mango pies most of the time), along with banner healing and adrenal health for four sources of healing. With it, the damage I take is healed back up in seconds.

I don’t deal superior damage, but I’m not overly squishy either. It takes a lot to bring me down, or it can be easy if I’m being kitteny or careless. My traits + my gear = a balanced build for offense and defense PvE.

I don’t know if this is a bug, probably is, but my war horn skills (with quick breathing) remove at least 2 conditions in addition to the ones they’re supposed to remove. For example, if you’re immobilized, war horn #4 (charge) will remove it, as well as two other conditions such as bleed and vulnerability. Packing it with a 20% cooldown reduction, you have an invaluable method for removing conditions. I also use cleansing ire (remove 1 condition per bar of adrenaline – a maximum of 3) and the active for signet of stamina (remove all conditions). Already, that’s four methods for condition removal, but I save signet of stamina for just-in-case situations due to its long cooldown, especially since I don’t have signet mastery (discipline 10).

The best advice is definitely to make your own build. You’ll be glad you did. Don’t play the way others tell you to. They’re not wrong, and you’ll probably be top tier in dps, but I assure you that something will tick you off about the build that others give you. In that case, don’t be afraid/ashamed to switch it up.
