2 seconds will help in a lot of situations. We won’t be turning around after killing something and immediately be down a bar for example.
I would have hoped for something a little more though, 4 or 5 seconds ideally. We’ll see how it goes with 2 for now I guess, it’s certainly better then before.
Well, it is SOMETHING… perhaps SoF/to_the_limit will be usable again to “pre-boost” as you would be dropped to 2 bars by the time your burst skill launched with the earlier adrenal combat rules.

I am really happy about the 2 second grace period. It means that I can retarget my rifle and use the burst skill without instantly losing it if my target dies.

Nope, no pre-boosting. If you are not in combat when you gain adrenaline the decay still happens instantly.

Yup..That’s the mistake.They should give the grace period of adren decay also when not yet in combat..This really doesn’t change a whole lot and still we are unable to start a fight with a surprise burst.

The 2-second period for decay is lol-worthy, given how fast adrenaline decays. About 3/second? I could accept 0-grace-period for a 1/second decay.
yaddayadda PvP implications, but it can only be good for Warrior even in that setting.

I would really agree with boosting to decay time to 5-8 seconds. Although, the 2 seconds is really noticeable, so 5-8 seconds would feel really nice. Overall, I appreciate this change, and hope they expand it to 5-8 seconds.
This change is just too situational imo…
They should also slower down adrenaline decay at least by 33%. It just goes down too fast

The best part about this is the players thanking ANet for putting a 2s window on it and forgetting the droves of player feedback on Adrenaline issues post Sept 2014 patch.
Yep, it’s been a year-and-a-half since Warrior mechanic was broken…
Adrenaline needs to be a “buff”. You apply it, it stacks and lasts at least 2s (should be 5s+) from any gained source. i.e. if you want to use Outrage to load up Adrenaline pre-first strike . You should be able to use an ability (have it go on cooldown) and effective preload your spike like every other class does Necros with Lifeforce, Boons applied pre-combat, etc… So clunky for Warriors…
