Guild Wars 2

So I’m having a lot of doubts about which legendary to go for.

I don’t want the greatsword which I’m guessing is pretty standard for many. Don’t like the game play with the greatsword.

Been in love with the Hammer for a looooong time and primarily played with this weapon. So this is the obvious choice.

Currently I’m running a gun specc and having SOOO much fun. Don’t want the gun, since Anet stated that the Warrior shouldn’t act as a range class, so I’m fearing a nerf inc here… plus it is ugly as hell (IN MY OPINION!)

With my gun, I’m running sword and horn which is also an awesome combo. So thinking of making the sword… Bolt looks awesome too

Which means I’m down to Hammer or sword… hard choice!

What legendary are you going for?

Lets not talk about the looks, but greatsword is much more useful in most situation.

But legendaries are all about looks…

I would also state that it really depends on your group setup if GS is more useful then Hammer. I only venture into W3 with my guild group which packs a lot of dps already, so bringing a GS is not the important factor. Hammer on the other hand brings a lot of utility I can use to support my group.

PVE I often find that my gun is the best choice anyway, so the GS vs Hammer discussion is not that relevant from my point of view.

But want I really wanted to know is… what legendary are you going for and why?

Back when i did PvE still i was going for Jugg. Then i realized I am probably gonna use GS way more, but didn’t have it in me to grind for twlight since it was a good ~300-400G more to complete than jugg. Ended up selling all my jugg mats and making a volcanus instead (and now i quit PvE basically except when i run wvw with guild – yes, i consider wvw basically pve heh.)

Just build the one for the weapon you plan on using the most. Nothing worse than building a shiny legendary then realizing you don’t really want to use that weapon type.
