So I have a problem with that ppl dont want me in their team if I dont run PS build. I really like my axe/shield build but there is no use for those weapons in pve. Ok dont nerf gs but make axe, shield, sword, warhorn, mace useable. Who wants axe/shield warrior in their team when gs warrior can stack 25 might only by himself? Please think about it and give us some more options of playing than only gs :(

PS I know that there is pvp and wvw too and there I can use those weapons but I have made Legendary axe and shield and I dont want to keep them in my inventory and use a common gs to fight mobs. Hope you`ll understand me ;)

im sorry but its pve. people will always use what is best to clear in the fastest way. if condi sword now does more damage than gs people will take still only take it if they still have 25 perma might for everyone. thats the main reason for mono greatsword meta. axe does a really good amount of damage but phalanx is too good to not take if youre the only warrior. and shield is useless because the content is just too easy u dont need a block you dont even need one dodge if u have a good guard (althought warrior should dodge at the start of the fight to get the damage buff when not having full energy and for the reckless dodge proc)

play wvw or pve where survivability stats and personal utility matter. pve will continue to be dps + dps buffs + minor survivability buffs.

Thats why I want changes to make other weapons doing something for wole team just like ps warrior. This idea needs trait changes.

can’t give a might generation trait to every warrior weapon… that would cause so many problems

This isn’t a balance problem, it’s a question of contribution to groups that want to clear dungeons as quickly as possible. To do what you want would throw things way out of balance in the rest of the game.

You can absolutely use whatever weapon set you want, but you’ll have to find groups that aren’t as concerned about speed. Be thankful you at least have a place in speed groups… not all classes are so fortunate.

I dont want to make every weapon doing the same – might. I want to make every weapon usable for whole team so everyone could use any weapon without any complains. Having 1 build in game is just boring dont you think?

Again, though, you have plenty of usable builds for dungeon runs and other pve content. The issue you’re having is the people you’re grouping up with want to be as fast as possible.

Given the pve areas are largely static (same baddies, same ai, etc) there will always be a fastest party comp. It’s just math. Even if warriors could achieve the highest dps in the game, there would still be a stronger case to run at least one PS build unless the opportunity cost was less having an ele handle the might stacking.

I’m 100% with you in that you can and should play whatever you find most fun, but you’ll have to find people who aren’t so focused on what’s optional to play with.
